Very watery
Long time bourbon/whiskey enjoyer here. Been exploring non-alcoholic options lately out of curiosity. First purchase was Ritual, Wiski being my second. Both are similar in flavor. Wiski has slightly more of a burn, but water is the overwhelming character when tried neat. Mixed, it’s not bad. A far cry away from whiskey, but hopefully this trend will continue and get better with more experimenting. Cheers!Ver másVer menos

Looks like muddy water, but taste is fair.
This was my first time trying a Philters non alcoholic substitute. And I’m not overly impressed. But I tried to view this not as a whiskey replica, but as an alternative for non drinkers.I am impressed with the packaging. It comes nicely boxed. The bottle is heavy glass and comes corked, not with a cheap screw lid. And that’s where I stopped being so impressed.After uncorking, I poured a little into a glass. It’s not clear like whiskey. It is opaque and looks a little like muddy water. It has a scent that is partly spicy, partly medicinal. I tasted it and it is somewhat sweet and spicy. It’s not terrible…. It’s just not whiskey.If a person doesn’t drink whiskey at all, this might be a good substitute. If you don’t try to compare this to real whiskey, it might be drinkable. However, most people, if they do drink really whiskey can’t help but “compare” this non alcoholic substitute to the real thing. And it’s not going to measure up. I mixed some with Coke and I find it better that way. Mixed with Coke, it tastes more like whiskey (without the burn) and you can’t see that it’s opaque.So, if you can’t drink… such as someone who is trying to omit alcohol all together or if you’re pregnant and can’t drink, but you still want to fit in socially, this may be a viable option.Ver másVer menos

I'm not much of a drinker, but wanted to try this non-alcoholic beverage
I have spent much of my life near the Kentucky Bourbon-making region of the country, so should be familiar with this type of beverage! This Wiski does have that familiar, sweet-carmel-y, smokey flavor of a good whiskey or bourbon and if someone is wanting to make a nonalcoholic mixed drink for someone who wants to "blend in with the party" this Wiski over ice would be a way to do just that. I decided to try it in a couple of holiday recipes - nonalcoholic bourbon eggnog and the sweet treat, brown butter bourbon and pecan cookies. This adds the flavor without adding the alcohol so for children, it's a good substitute. Worth trying!Ver másVer menos

That is simply the worst excuse of a whisky mimic. Save your money.
