Ummmm........
So maybe I'm crazy, but I figured the whole point of making something the non-alcoholic version, would be so you could enjoy the flavor without 2 things: The burn of alcohol, and the hangover. So far I don't have a hangover yet, but for some reason we've still got the burn. Created I think through the combination of cinnamon and ginger, this beverage very much still has the classic back-of-the-throat burn that many would pair with alcohol, without the boozy scent so you know that's not it. Which I suppose is fine, but the initial flavor isn't something I think is all that great either, since my first impressions were "That tastes like sugar and wood." And to be fair I'm probably right, since this is made with oak chips and sugar, but personally that's the kind of flavor I'd attribute to whiskey or rye, not rum. One thing I will say is this was packaged incredibly well, in a form-fitting box, wrapped in very large bubble wrap, so it does seem like the brand takes pride in their work, its just I'm not so sure who this is for. If you like the idea of a non-alcoholic beverage where the alcohol is out, but the burn stays in, then maybe this is for you. For me this just isn't great, but because it seems like its relatively accurate to what its trying to do, and is priced alright for the quality that's been put in, I think its still probably a 3/5.Ver másVer menos
