Silencing headphones, great for children & working family.
A daily use for my sons with autism or my work projects with tools. Durable, Affordable price. Looks great, adjusts to our different sizes and very comfortable. It works well for loud noises but allows for controlled hearing of communication.

Finally an earcup that fits my giant head!
It is not often that earcups actually fit me. I have a very large head (about 25" circumference"), and consequently very large ears. Getting earcups to fit me is a real challenge, especially when so few options actual provide the measurements for the earcups. Well, for those in a similar boat, here they are. the inside of the cup is about 42mm wide x 67mm tall. Measuring the depth was a little less precise since the foam pad is not consistent in height, but I measured 21mm at the shallowest point (middle of the cup), to about 33mm at the deepest (edge of the cup). It's got a lot of malleable foam in there though, so if your ears pushed into the shallow part I would expect some give.As for adjustability, the cups can move up and down along the shiny silver rods holding the ear cups to the above head bracket. The bracket itself is slightly flexible, but not massively. Clamping force is moderate to me, but remember that I have a giant head. Most ear protection I've seen naturally rests with both earcups touching each other, but this one rests naturally rests with maybe an inch or so between the cups. This likely helps with clamping force. Still, I wish there was a touch less in my case.As for quality of noise cancellation, I would say it was better than the other four I tried. I am not cool enough to be able to measure this, but subjectively it was on par with or better than anything else. Probably it being one of only two that fit me at all helped there due to the audio seal. To keep expectations in check, it isn't going to make speech inaudible, but it definitely muffles it. I tested it with some baby crying audio on max volume, and it took it from uncomfortable to tolerable.As for portability, it is relatively light, but does not fold. The best you can do is retract the earcups fully, but that only does so much.Overall, I like them, and they are the only pair I decided to keep. The massive earcups fit my head, and the noise reduction is decent. If you have a large head like me, I'd give them a go!Ver másVer menos

Good for larger ears
Perfect for larger ears. Better to deafen sound. Not tight either.

Better protection than much more expensive muffs
I had purchased a mid-level set of ear muffs for shooting at an indoor range -- a low-profile model with electronic voice pass-through. In combination with in-ear plugs they worked well enough, but I was still feeling the heavy bangs enough to explore other options.I bought this pair because they seemed to promise a lot for a good price. And: indeed, they really do provide significantly superior protection. The seal around my ears is much better with these, and I feel quite a bit more effectively isolated from the bangs happening all around me. They are bulkier, for sure, but I don't really notice it much, as they are honestly pretty comfortable and not heavy. The fit is fine, too. I wish they folded-up a bit more compactly, but that's fine.I would say that my own, personal finding on ear protection for shooting is that the concept of voice pass-through is -- I think at least on some level -- a bit of a gimmick. At least at the lower- to mid-level price echelon. For me, at an indoor range, when do I ever need to hear someone talking to me while actively engage in shooting? Almost never. So it's just not a necessity for myself and, I suspect, for most typical folks at the range.So, bottom line, in this case the cheap option is better for the intended purpose. Really good
They do exactly what you get em for..Isolate noises..Only one con-size...they are big..When they find a way to make em smaller and still work the same,when it comes to isolate noise,then you ll have the best headphones ever made..
