Fans are mediocre and motherboard standoffs are absolute garbage, but ok for the price
I bought the 515 and normally I do not even bother to leave a review, but I just had an infuriating time with the 515 so I came to share. I always planned to replace the fans, they are sub par so nothing new there. The biggest problem for me the 515 has is the standoffs. Call me a newb for stripping the standoffs and maybe this is not new, at first I thought the motherboard tray and the standoffs were garbage, but no its specifically the standoffs. I had some old brass ones with proper threading they gripped the motherboard tray and did what they needed to do. The stock standoffs have very short thread at the bottom in comparison and probably made of crappy metal. The thread on the top standoff is not properly made either. So start screwing down the motherboard and the screw will not even be halfway down before the bottom starts spinning.Other than that, I wish they sold the case without the Fans and more quality of life adjustments. The front panel wires held down with twist ties and some of the cut outs from the PSU area to the motherboard could be better. The front panel audio doesn't reach the back bottom corner of the motherboard area. It's a mediocre case that could use some love, ditch the fans, fix the cut outs for wire pass through and make sure the wires can reach all the way to the back lower corner of the motherboard, it's not uncommon to have front panel audio and usb there.I was looking for a cheap case to stick existing components in and since I want reliable fans I was going to buy those anyways.Ver másVer menos
