  Solid set of bumper plates!

Very happy with this set. The plates look great, and the colors match our existing bumper plates almost perfectly, which was a nice bonus. We’ve been using them regularly for a few months now, and they’ve held up without any noticeable wear, durability issues, or quality concerns. They feel solid, fit the bar well, and perform exactly as expected. I’d definitely buy these again.Ver másVer menos

  Incredible value

Incredible value. Prime Days pricing put them well below $1/lb. A few arrived damaged and I followed in included instructions to contact customer service. I provided pictures and the Amazon order number and replacements were sent out promptly and arrived a few days later.Yes, they smell for a few days. Yes, they aren't Rogue comp plate quality. But they will get the job done for 95% of athletes that are just looking for some high-value bumpers.Ver másVer menos

Excellent Quality and Stands Out Among Options

We looked at a lot of different Olympic bumper plate sets before making a decision, and this one really stood out. From the moment we unpacked it, the quality and sturdiness were immediately apparent. The plates feel solid and seems like it will hold up for years of consistent use.One thing to note for future buyers: these plates arrive coated with a heavy layer of grease, so be prepared for a thorough initial cleaning before using them. Once cleaned, they look great and are ready for lifting.Overall, this set is phenomenal for both beginners and serious lifters. The variety of weights makes it easy to adjust your workouts. Considering the quality and price, this is an excellent purchase and highly recommended if you’re building a home or garage gym.Ver másVer menos

Great value, excellent packaging. The smell was *nothing* to write home about. (Read below)

Great value, arrived a day earlier than planned. Thickness & size is appropriate, relative to weight of plate(s). Accurate description. Easy to unpack, yet packaged securely. On day #1, I am completely satisfied. After reading multiple reviews mentioning “the strong odor” associated with these plates, I was prepared for Joe Camel *and* the Marlboro Man to come out of the box(es)! The plates did *not smell to me like a pack of cigarettes or “smoke”; rather, they smell like Discount Tire or Harbor Freight (and rightfully so(!) ; after all, they’re covered in rubber). I went ahead & washed them with dish soap & a soft brush, as I’ve been mentally prepared to do so since reading the aforementioned reviews.I plan using these plates with my Smith machine & leg press/squat machine. I do *not anticipate these plates repeatedly bumping the floor; otherwise, I would’ve purchased “competition plates” that are made to do such. Don’t purchase these particular plates thinking they’re made to bounce around. If that’s what you need, purchase upgraded plates and/or a thick mat. These plates are great for the purpose they’re designed. I’ll report if something changes, but I believe I’m set.Ver másVer menos

Good Value for all the Weight.

The weights came in several different boxes that UPS left at the end of our drive. I got a workout just carrying the weights to the house. Like most people have said, the weights come oily and have a smell to them, but I let them air out in the garage and they are just fine. The price is right for this much weight.Ver másVer menos

  great plates!

these plates were exactly what we were looking for for our at-home gym. all plates fit great on our 2-inch barbell. will warn- they were super greasy unpacking (which I had seen in previous reviews). gave them wipe-down and let them air out for several days.

DO NOT BUY. The smell is absolutely awful.

Wish I would have known that they would smell like absolute death before I bought them. Considering how expensive they are, I wasn't expecting the company to cut corners by using cheap chemicals in the manufacturing process. Honestly surprised it's legal to sell these in the United States given how bad/artificial the product smelled. The plastic that covered the weights was covered in some sort of smudgy, discolored liquid that appeared to be large amounts of chemical residue. The entire room smelled like a car factory after opening these. Please take your money elsewhere and don't make the mistake that I did by trusting this company.Ver másVer menos

  Great but covered in oil

I love these plates, great packaging although I could have done without the pile of grease they leave on the plates to keep them from drying out. That took me a good 20 mins of scrubbing total to get out

Perfect set for a home gym.

Quick delivery and no issues at all the packaging or quality. There was some oiliness, as many other reviews noted, but it really wasn't a problem and came off quickly at touch points with a quick dishsoap/water spray mix. I haven't seen rubber bumper plates from a reputable manufacturer at a better price, so I'd definitely recommend these as a great option for a home gym.Ver másVer menos

  Oily plate

The plates are as described in terms of weight and specifications. My only complaint is that they were extremely oily , il mean, really oily...I had to clean them all with a rag and dish soap in a bucket, and the water turned completely black in the end Maybe that’s a bit excessive (Good quality overall)Ver másVer menos

  Correct
