great product + customer service. would recommend + would buy again
*TLDR:* great screen protector for iPhone 11 Pro. great customer service. black outline does not obscure or affect my phone experience - makes it look more seamless with the phone. 100% definitely recommend and would purchase again!!! full story: i don't usually write reviews, but i am the type of person that reads reviews like crazy before buying anything. this company provided a great product and great customer service, so i wanted to recommend them and share the kind of details that i was mining for when i was researching screen protectors to buy. i have been using various screen protectors for years on older iPhone versions, and they've been a godsend for preventing cracks on the actual phone glass or at least absorbing the majority of the impact. i also had noticed my new phone was getting little nicks and scratches on the screen from brushing against my keys in my pocket, so i wanted to get one ASAP. *WHAT I LOOKED FOR + OTHER PRODUCTS I'VE TRIED* i have an iPhone 11 Pro, and i initially bought the TETHYS Glass Screen Protector Designed for iPhone 11 Pro/iPhone Xs (comes in a pack of 3) (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D6XR7FM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). when i was reading reviews about the TETHYS product, the features i was looking for in a product were the following, in order of priority: - full-screen coverage (no cutout for the front-facing camera, adds more protection and looks more seamless) - black outline does not obscure part of the screen (helps screen protector look more seamless) - comes with multiple screen protectors in case one cracks when the TETHYS product arrived, i didn't actually apply the protector because i could tell from just placing it on top of my phone that the black outline would obscure part of the phone screen. i returned it and read more reviews, searching specifically for "iPhone 11 Pro" and with "black outline." i came across a reviewer who had tried multiple screen protectors with black outlines. she recommended a number of screen protectors and noted that this one's black line did not make a notable difference in using the phone. i decided to give it a shot and am glad i did!! *APPLICATION + CUSTOMER SERVICE* application was easy. i've applied so many of these over the years, so i didn't use the plastic casing guide that comes with it. i tried but it felt like it would be more difficult than to just hold my breath and apply carefully without the guide like i usually do lol. the one thing i was a little disappointed about was 3 notable specks of dust that got under the screen during the application process, creating 3 small air bubbles where the specks were. i emailed customer service immediately, and they sent me a replacement without question! while i was waiting for the replacement to come, i dropped my phone a few times (just on hard laminate floors, nothing crazy) and the screen protector saved it! in the first 3 photos, you can see the specks of dust that created air bubbles in the first application of the screen, as well as the big crack i got from dropping my phone while waiting for the replacements to arrive in the mail. *USE + FEEL* - screen sensitivity is unaffected by the screen protector - you can feel the screen when you swipe up from the bottom of the phone — nothing you can do about that if you want to have a screen protector on the phone - the full-screen coverage + black outline makes it look like there's not even a screen protector there! *ATTACHED PHOTOS* 1. first application: dust / air bubbles, crack from dropping phone 2. first application: different angle of the phone 3. screen protector with crack removed 4. side-by-side of phone without screen protector and with one. on the left side, the phone is right after i removed the cracked screen protector. you can see the actual phone screen didn't get cracked! on the right side, i've applied the replacement screen protector that they sent me in the mail 5. the screen protector fits inside of my phone case 6. i got a few specks of dust under the case during this application, but there were no air bubbles this time so it doesn't bother me because it's way less noticeable 7. the black outline does overlap with 3 of the black dots at the top. i think those are light sensors - it has not affected the phone Read moreVer másVer menos
