  This heated ice cream scoop works really well, especially with ice cream that is very hard straight from the freezer. It heats up quickly and makes scooping much easier without having to wait for the ice cream to soften. The LED display is a nice feature, and the rechargeable design is very convenient.   I'm loving this rechargeable heated ice cream scoop. It works flawless. Heats fast, has a nice edge that cuts right into the ice cream and creates lovely scoops. Easy to use.

  NO shut-off button (careful putting it away before it shuts itself off!))

  No buttons, it's AUTO-ON when you touch the handle, pick it up, or hold it. It STAYS on when you put it down (or put it away) until automatically timing-out after 30-40 seconds from when your hand is removed from it.It works about 4 or 5 nights for us, then the numbers blink and its off.It gets to 140° -- if that's too warm for your little ones then keep it out of reach.The temperature fluctuates as ice cream cool it down, and it heats itself back up; a digital temp °F reading at the end of the handle reflects this in real time. I don't put it in a drawer until it has turned itself off and cooled down. Feels sturdy,The scoop heats fast and makes scooping ice cream smooth, whether deep or shallow. It makes shiny curls if you don't press as hard, they fill up a bowl fast & look decorative & like you're getting more. Or will dig deeper, but heats back up slower if you do.   Perfect scoops!

  I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do! Hold it in your hand for about 20 seconds, and it warms up enough to scoop perfect ice cream balls. Easy to keep clean. You just have to remember to charge it once in a while.

  Works fine, but needs a switch

  It works fine, but way too easy to turn on when you're not yet ready.You really have to be careful, if you're not ready for it to come on.FYI, it's not a miracle worker.The ice cream will steal the heat.You have to go slow, and you might even have to wait a minute between scoops for it to recover.If you're just serving one person, it's fine.If you're serving a party, it helps a lot to dip it in hot water between scoops.Which, probably means I could just use a regular scoop and dip it in a glass of hot water, but I don't necessarily regret buying it.Ver másVer menos
