German quality Earphones. Premium constructed!
My goodness! Just arrived today (June 19, 2026). And what a professional pair of earphones. They are making my music experience pure joy. Comfortable, yes! Sound stage in your ears, yes! I'm testing them with a wide variety of music. The first song is from 1979 - Donna Summer, I Feel Love, Long Version. Sound is more than incredible. Next in line is Dance the Night Away, from Van Halen. Wow!! I've never heard music in my ears this good. My friends, if you can afford them, buy them! You will not be disappointed.Ver másVer menos

Absolutely Superior Sound
A certain charismatic YouTuber made me realize that as my hearing descends further and further into the depths of unyielding tinnitus I deserve to hear my favorite music and watch my favorite movies and content as best as realistically possible. So I splurged and spent more on these than my last car payment, or roughly 6 months of cellphone service.I am now spoiled by the best sounding music and video content I've ever heard in my life. These headphones are so good you'd need an aural poet savant to adequately describe the sensation of listening to songs and watching movies I've experienced dozens if not hundreds of times before, but these headphones reveal new sounds/nuances/aspects/content I've never heard before. They are also insanely comfortable and don't hurt my large ears.Do yourself a favor and splurge. There will be zero buyer's remorse after your first round of Wish You Were Here, Hotel California, and/or Clair de Lune.Ver másVer menos

Not made in China
Just bought the DT 990 Pros which are phenomenal for extended use and are very light and comfortable but needed something louder. I am the farthest thing from an audiophile but just bought an MPC to make my own beats to reading Psalms but felt like the 990's needed a bit more, whatever that may be. That is exactly what the 1990's are but not just more volume because any China brand can do that. The sound quality makes me mad that no one showed me this was even possible earlier. I would say that for inside use, in a quiet environment, the 990's get the job done but even though the 1990's are more than double the price of the 990's, there is nothing that can compare. Well worth the investment.Ver másVer menos

These are THE headphones to own for everything!
I don't normally take the time to write reviews. If I like the product that I bought then I normally just enjoy it.However, I need to write a review on these. I don't know any proper terminology for music and/or sound. All I know is that these are LEGIT the best headphones I've ever used. I'm literally hearing parts of songs I've never heard before.Plus these are amazing for competitive games AND story games with great sound design.I even just watched the first Avatar movie with these and some of the scenes with huge musical parts dropped my jaw.Stop thinking about getting these and just buy them. Seriously. It may be a bit expensive, but I promise the price is justified by the insane quality. It's fits my big head perfectly and it's super comfortable.Ver másVer menos

I returned them, my gawd that treble, but holy imaging
I wanted to like these headphones soooooooooo bad but I just dont. from the cup shape, to weight and sound profile, I dont like these headphones and that doesnt even get into pricing. These headphones are gorgeous and built like a tank. Excellent excellent build quality. You cannot deny that these are made well.I hate how these headohones sound. They are exhausting. I primarily use my headphones for fps comp gaming. Specifcally Tarkov. That said though, these headphones have some of the best imaging I have every experienced. Like holy heck pin point accuracy finding heads through bushes without even seeing people accuarate. its insane.... but the weight of the phones.... and the agony of my own footsteps upon my ear drums.... I cant do it.the 490 pros arent quite as accurate but in every other aspect they blow the 1990s out of the water with ease while being half the price... IMO of course. We all like different things, but for me, I kinda hate the 1990 pro mkiis and ended up not being able to wear them for my entire gaming sessions. The 1990s have a hot spot issue. This headband in combination with the weight is bad. The crown of my head was on fire and it makes sense why pilot pads are so popular.I dont like the round ear cups. They end up putting a lot of pressure on my jaw and dont fit my head well. I think they might fit rounder heads better than my more almond-shaped head.If you only care about perfect directionality and imaging, the dt 1990 pro mkiis cannot be beat (from the phones ive tried) but if you value comfort for extended sessions, get the 490 pros instead.Ver másVer menos

Balanced Quality
Great headphones If you don’t like too much bass, but the mids and highs tune in great. The 900pro x have more bass than these but they punch more than the 990’s very well balanced.
