Beautiful, sturdy, great buy.
I usually don’t write reviews, but I was so emotionally invested in this product that I had to share my thoughts.Sturdy – As an athletic 299-pound man, I was initially worried it wouldn’t hold up. But the moment I sat down, I could tell this chair was solid. I used to weigh 380 pounds and have broken many chairs in the past, so I know when a chair is being tested. When you sit down and feel the legs start to slightly spread or bow—that’s the danger zone. This chair showed zero signs of weakness and kept its form. Honestly, I think someone up to 380 pounds could sit on it if they’re not moving around or sliding in and out of the table. At 400+, a hard sneeze should do it in.Beautiful – These chairs are absolutely beautiful. What you see is what you get. It’s rare to find a product that looks even better in person than it does in the catalog, but this one comes close.Comfort – The seat padding is incredibly comfortable. I don’t know if it’s memory foam or something else, or how long it will last, but my first sit felt just right—not too soft, not too firm. I could easily see myself sitting in it for hours during a workday. The mesh back and the angle of the backrest are also spot-on.Quality – This chair feels super sturdy and dense for its size. It doesn’t feel like a flimsy IKEA chair, but it’s also not so heavy that your small kids couldn’t handle it with ease.- downside is that the leather isn’t real (which they do make clear). The chair looks luxury and so you think to yourself “only if the leather was real it would be perfect” but they make it clear it’s not. If that’s too inconvenient then go downtown and 2x or 3x as much at a boutique. Also I’m not entirely convinced the walnut is real either. The thin layer of “walnut” on the wood looks a really questionable. honestly, I don’t care—it looks freaking beautiful. I placed them around my $7K modern walnut table, and the setup is drop-dead gorgeous.No buyer’s remorse here. Go ahead and purchase it and enjoy.Ver másVer menos
