  Flexible and Lightweight

  These seem to be great hiking pants based on their flexibility, pocket space, and material. The pants are very lightweight and the outside is a waterproof-like material which is great for hiking to prevent extreme temperature changes.The pants have an almost rain jacket like feel to them when you wear them. The pockets alternate of each side, but all pockets have zippers which gives an ease of mind about any items they’re holding.They allow for a wide range of motion, from squats, lunges, leg raises, etc., there was no tightness between any of my movements.Overall, seem to be pretty good hiking pants and they are comfortable to wear.Ver másVer menos

  Comfortable and breathable hiking pants!

  These are very comfortable and breathable hiking pants. While I'm not a serious hiker, it was nice to wear these for the easier, family hikes in the national parks. These pants protected my legs from sun, bugs, and the plants we walked around. Also important for use in summer in Texas, Utah, and Arizona, these pants were breathable enough that I didn't melt wearing them.I was very happy to confirm that they are not noisy - almost no swishing when I walk. There are lots of pockets (with good sturdy zipper closures) and my phone fit easily into most of them. Oh, and they were easy to pack.I actually liked these pants so much that I purchased them in two more colors after trying them.   Comfortable, lightweight summer pants

  I was looking for a less expensive version of the Prana hiking pants and these are pretty close. I'm not a hiker but I like this style of pants because they are cool in the summer (and I don't love shorts). These are pretty nice. I'm a size 2 (5'1", 105 lbs) and the XS fit well. They are straight leg, and a little looser fit than I would like, especially around the thighs. The length is good, I hate when pants are too short (my legs are long for my height). I got Navy and it has grey trim which is ok, it looks nice but I could do without a second color. The Navy is almost a royal blue, lighter than a true Navy. Since I don't hike I could do without the toggles at the bottom but mostly I don't notice them. Overall they are a decent casual summer pant that will keep me cool on a hot day.Ver másVer menos

  Badass backpacking pants

  I bought these for a backpacking trip in alpine environment (Enchantments in WA State). I didn’t want to spend a fortune on name brand, even though I know it’s a good investment (future things for this single parent). The reviews on these pants were good enough to make me take a chance, and I’m so glad I did!I’m 5’6 and 180lbs, and I went with the XL in black. I personally love a loose fit in the legs, and I could have absolutely done a Large instead — but I liked the roominess the CL gave while also fitting nicely in the waist! I also like to put my base layer underneath, and they layered well.Are they super stylish? Nope. Are they comfy? Hell yes. Do they hold up well in the rain? They do! Do I love the pockets? Yessssss! What about the cinch feature at the ankles? I never used it, because it was actually cold and rainy most of my backpacking trip.I wore these three days in a row and while my body got stanky, the pants didn’t seem to pick that up! They also dry super quickly, which was nice on the trail — I let them hang in a dry spot while changing into my camp pajamas, and they were ready for the next day faster than I expected!I didn’t notice any significant wrinkling. They seem perfect for packing down in a backpack! The material is soft, the zippers worked well, and overall they are a very versatile pair of pants.I’ll be getting another pair in the orange!Ver másVer menos

  Fabulous lightweight packable all kinds of adventure pants

  These pants are fabulous. They are lightweight, breathable, packable, so comfortable, have a plethora or very useful pockets, cinch bottoms to keep out unwanted pests and fit inside hiking boots or tall sneakers. Wore them multiple days in recent trip to the Rockies and they were perfect for all my adventures and dining out.Ver másVer menos

  Ok, but a little disappointed

  These were just ok. I've bought several other products from this company and loved them (I have some capri pants from them that I wear almost every day and have bought in many colors).The material felt nice, and my temperature stayed well-regulated in these. They are baggy enough that I didn't get mosquito bites thru them, even tho they are thin enough to bite thru. Plus the bagginess meant I could wear leggings under them on cold evenings.However, the major flaw from my perspective is that the "cinch" mechanism at the ankles doesn't stay cinched. I think the cordlock they use is just too cheap and doesn't have the strength to hold a cinch. That doesn't sound too bad, but it means that 1) I can't adjust these into capri length when needed (which was one of the reasons I chose these pants), and 2) I can't wear these pants without hiking boots. My inseam is 30 inches, so the regular length was too short, so I bought the long length thinking I could use the cinch to keep the pants from being too long. But since that doesn't work, the pant legs slip down under my feet when I walk if I'm not wearing shoes. This makes them impractical (and kinda dangerous) to wear at home or around camp in flat camp shoes. It is a constant source of irritation.I was also a little disappointed that the back and leg pockets were each only on one side (other pants I've bought from this brand had 2 each of regular pockets, butt pockets, and thigh pockets, which is really handy). But this was minor compared to the leg cinch thing.Ver másVer menos
