  Great cable and connectors

  These are very nice cables! They are thicker than others that I have bought. The RCA connectors fit really tight, and look great. Excellent !

  Extreme quality cables that don't break the bank

  Splitters like this are a must have for subwoofers that don't have a dedicated LFE port. But even for ones that do like my 14 inch Klipsch RP 1400SW that does have a LFE, using both red and white (right and left. lol or is it left and right? now I forget, SMH) ports makes it wake up easier. Wake up as in when set to auto instead of always on, it needs X amount of voltage sent from the subwoofer preout to wake up. I can't for the life of me remember what the voltage it actually is. On top of waking up easier it adds a small DB boost. Before when using my Denon X3800H's Audyssey XT32 room correction software and a single subwoofer cable to just the LFE port, I would have to set the volume on the back of the sub to around 5. (If set too high Audyssey will pop up a DB meter showing you how low to turn it down to so it can correctly do its thing) When using a splitter I'll have to turn it down to around 3 instead. So the extra headroom is nice. The quality of this cable is very good. This is my second cable, well third technically that is from EMK. The other was a joined pair of RCA cables that I was really impressed with that are run to an external amp that are running my rear ceiling mounted bookshelves. It took care of the background noise (hiss/static sound when a speaker is powered but no audio signal is being actively sent) issue I was having with another set of RCA cables. This splitter is the same quality as it. I haven't noticed any degradation in sound with this despite it being way longer than the single cable I had paired with a female to 2 male adapter cable. Like the EMK RCA I tried the connectors make a solid connection. There's no chance in them just easily falling off like a lot of RCA I've used over the years. Shown in one of the pics is this next to another splitter that I was trying out. The difference in quality is night and day. Yet this was only 10 bucks more than that. I can't think of anything to complain about. When it comes time to get an external amp to run my fronts and center, I'll be going with EMK. I'm quite happy with them.Ver másVer menos
