A very bright light!
I bought this LED bike light because it has a very bright light, an on/off button on top of the light, a digital display showing operating time remaining on the light, and it uses the same mount/dismount handle bar attachment I have on my other bike lights.I have three similar lights that work well and have two mounted on my MTBs and use the third as a backup that I carry in my water-pack. I’ll swap out this light for the existing one on my eMTB to put it through its paces. Removing or switching out lights is easy. All it takes is loosening two set screws, sliding one light bar off, sliding the other one on and retightening the two “loss proof” screws. Up and down adjustments of the beam are easy while riding because the bar clamps aren’t solidly attached to the bars.This 4800 Lumen light is well built with the on/off button and remaining charge display situated on the top of the light bar for easy access and clear display.The light is very bright and allows you to see far down the trail. The main complaint I’ve heard is the light’s brightness bothers other riders. I don’t ride with other riders, but I do adjust the beam down when riding on streets or approaching hikers or other bike riders.Ver másVer menos

Bright bike light with great battery life
I was impressed with the overall quality of this bike light. The brightness is one of the best parts — it gives off a strong amount of light and makes riding in lower-light conditions feel a lot easier. The build feels solid and it doesn’t feel like a cheap accessory.The battery life has also been really good so far. I like that I don’t have to constantly worry about charging it after every use, and the rechargeable design is convenient compared to having to replace batteries.The light is easy to use and the different features make it practical for everyday riding. Overall, it feels like a well-made bike accessory that does what it’s supposed to do, and I think it’s a good option for anyone looking for a bright rechargeable bike light.Ver másVer menos

⁰disappointed changed to exceptional
It look and felt like a quality build. After using it, the first time and plugging it in the charged. Light came on, but it never went off, so finally I pulled it off the charger. Anyways, and it wouldn't turn on Anymore. Put it back on the charger and the light would turn on. Took it off the charger and that was it dead from their Heron, as I said, looks and felt like a really quality build, so I'm hoping it's the one-off going to give them the opportunity to replace it. I will update this toast once. I have view information or a new light with some time on it. Hope this helps somebody. Shortly after as I posted my review tittled (disappointed) I was sent a replacement unit from the company with there sincere concern , which I thought said something about this company they also ask if I would try the replacement and give a honest update on my post, I only wish I could have done soon but weather here has not been to conducive for bike scooter riding . It has been a lot better lately and I have taken it on several trips now with outstanding results the lite on hi is bright and full battery life it good and I only use it on its highest setting. I've had it on a scooter bicycle and it works so good. I found a way to mount it on my electric skateboard. It's fantastic. I just got back from a ride. I'll send a take a picture of it. It looks pretty cool . I feel this thing is of the highest quality which I'd mentioned in the first place on the last review. The look and feel was all quality. I just I think it got bumped the wrong way hard in the shipping or something last time. There was some marks on it. Anyways, you won't be disappointed with this light if you're looking for quality light. And I mean that in both ways, quality light and a quality light ha! Ha ! 😄 gotta add one more thing. It's very easy and a good design. Once you mount the mount, the light slides into its mount and out of its mount very easily so you can take it with you and then it clips very securely back into its mount, like very easy. I almost wish day I had could order another mount. Cause I'd like to use the light on several different things. And it's so easy once you got them out mounted to take the light off. Anyways, you won't be disappointed. I don't think for this slide. It's great hope this helps someone!

Extremely powerful and secures nicely
This light is powerful. I use it on my Vespa scooter that has a weak light. It is visible from space I’m sure. Would make a great bike light.

Bright and long lasting
Works well and lights up the trails nicely. The color is slightly harsh compared to other lights, but it does a good job. I mostly use the flood option as it is enough light for me. When I have it on combination of flood and spot, the light heats up and you can see the light output taper off. The battery life is plenty for riding a few hours and it has a nice countdown built in so you know approximately how much time you have left in the light.The mounting bracket works well on my mountain bike and it is securely mounted. It held up to a down hill flow trail with plenty of jumps and bumps. The light did not move at all.Ver másVer menos

Super-bright LED headlight with a few shortcomings
PROS — Finally... extremely impressed with the brightness of a head-light for my eBike. Four modes — Low wide, Spot narrow, High-bright wide, and Strobe wide. Very bright illumination even on low-beam. Small LED display on top shows remaining hours of battery life for each mode — and the display is very accurate regarding the remaining hours of battery life. On mode-1 low-beam lasts for 7 hours, which is quite impressive compared to other LEDs (tested). Charges in about 4-hours. Easy to mount on handlebars. aluminum housing built very solid and contains two Lithium 21700 batteries with capacity of 5,000mAh each. (18650s max-out at about 3,500mAh). I question whether they are actually at 25,500 lumens, but with 17 high-output beads and 10,000mAh battery pack, it is likely very close to 10K - 15K lumens. But seeing the obvious extreme brightness and distant illumination, it is arguable the brightest on the market right now. And it claims to have charging protection built-in..CONS — I gave it 4-stars because there are three shortcomings IMO. 1) the two 21,700 batteries cannot be replaced; 2) you cannot attach a supplemental USB-C battery pack to extend the hours of operation — while the light is operating. However, I rationalize with this light lasting 7 hours (on low beam, mode-1) per charge is adequate for most night time rides; and, 3) the mounting bracket could have been designed better. Since the headlight is quite heavy, a stronger bracket should have been used. Instead of thumb screws and a shallow grooved-rail design. It could have been designed with a thicker bottom on housing such that hex-head cap screws could firmly be screwed deeper into housing. I wouldn't trust the current mounting bracket for off-road riding because the jolting bumps could cause this bracket to fail because of the thin mounting rail seems too fragile, especially with only thumb screws holding in a shallow thread depth. I also think it's imperative that the included non-slip rubber strips be used to mount bracket securely on handlebar. The included plastic rings will not suffice without added non-slip rubber strips (included in packaging). Also stainless screws are included to replace thumb-screws on handlebar-side of mounting bracket..SUMMARY — Overall, in function, ease of mounting and operation, superior illumination and 7-hour capability on low-beam. I highly recommend this light for night riding, above all others on the market. This light clearly exceeds the illumination criteria for safe and confident bike riding at night. I highly recommend getting the 17-LED version (W617) of this model — well worth the price IMO.
