Solid little projector with great picture in correct lighting.
Great little projector. Normally run it plugged in to avoid the dim lighting of the eco mode. Picture quality it great. Menu system is semi smooth. YouTube TV tends to be a little laggy at times. Running a fire stick on it for a smoother UI.

Great projector, unfortunate cord
Projector works well. The power cord is super annoying though… When you plug in the adapter it juts straight out from the back so it forces you to place it the projector a couple of inches away from the wall, which in a smaller room really affects the projection size. There should be a power adapter that diverts the cord to the side.Ver másVer menos

So glad I picked this one
I spent a lot of time trying to figure out which projector to get, and this one perfectly fits my needs. Not super expensive compared to many other options. It's really easy to use and looks great. It works perfectly with the google ecosystem that I use all the time. It's not super bright but it's plenty bright enough and works well even if there is some light in the room. It's portable so that means some trade-off in lumens. Now that I have it I don't think I need it portable per se, but it's a convenient size, doesn't take up a lot of space. The picture is huge and the clarity is nice although I don't think it's 4K but 1080p is good enough. Love it!Ver másVer menos

Great for Home, But Not the Lightest for Travel
The XGIMI Halo+ GTV is a solid portable projector that really shines in brightness—literally. I’ve used it at home, and it’s noticeably brighter than my old Nebula Laser projector, which makes a big difference when watching movies or shows in rooms with some light. The picture quality is sharp, the colors look true to life, and the built-in Android TV makes it super easy to stream from apps like Netflix or YouTube without needing another device. The built-in battery is a nice bonus too, letting me use it even when I’m not near an outlet. But here’s the downside: it’s pretty big and heavy for a “portable” projector. If I were to take it on a trip, it’d eat up my carry-on space, and the weight would make it tiring to lug around. Plus, since it has a battery, going through airport security might get tricky depending on the airline’s rules. It also doesn’t have an adjustable stand built into the body, so I need to place it on a table or use a separate tripod to get the angle just right. That’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s one more thing to pack.Overall, I’d say the Halo+ is great for home use or maybe car camping where you don’t mind the size. It’s bright, easy to use, and the built-in battery is convenient. But if you’re looking for something truly lightweight and travel-friendly, this might not be the best pick. It’s more of a “stationary portable” than a true on-the-go projector. For couch potatoes like me who want a big-screen vibe without the hassle, it’s a winner—just don’t plan to backpack it across Europe.Ver másVer menos

So far so good
Great sound and picture quality. Connectivity to WiFi cause be better with wifi6. It was easy to setup but very slow startup with GTV. I find it better to just wait a little bit to let it boot completely. It can be a little too bright for my eyes so I have it in eco mode against the a wall with no projection screen. And the wall is painted a pale blue.Ver másVer menos

Company failure
If it's not what you were expecting and you would like to return, be aware you will not get a full refund. I was not refunded $60 of my total price of payment. Apparently it was dropped in price so only got the lower amount credited back. That's a poor way of doing business! The item itself was nice and had a great picture when watching tv but when my son wanted to play Xbox it was very grainy and poor quality. Only used it a few hours before deciding to return and the item was in great condition when returned.Ver másVer menos

Probably best portable projector ❤️
I recently purchased the XGIMI Halo+ GTV Projector, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! Right from the unboxing experience, everything felt premium — the packaging was excellent, and the projector arrived in perfect condition with no signs of damage. The build quality immediately stood out — it feels solid, sturdy, and well-designed. But what truly impressed me the most are the auto alignment and auto focus features. These are absolute game-changers! I don’t have to spend any time adjusting the image manually; the projector automatically aligns and focuses perfectly, which makes setup effortless every single time. The picture clarity is superb, and the brightness is just right, even in a room that isn’t completely dark. Watching movies and shows feels immersive and sharp. The built-in speakers also deliver surprisingly clear and rich sound, eliminating the need for external speakers for casual viewing.Another huge plus point is that Netflix runs seamlessly thanks to the GTV licensing — something my previous projector struggled with. Having everything work smoothly out of the box makes the experience so much better.Overall, I’m extremely happy and satisfied with my purchase. The XGIMI Halo+ truly delivers on its promises, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, all-in-one projector experience.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — A fantastic buy!Ver másVer menos

XGIMI Halo+ (New) - Netflix Not Licensed
The XGIMI Halo+ (New), as of time of writing, is their latest version of this product which is supposed to come with GoogleTV. Once it started up, it immediately showed AndroidTV which was a clear indicator that this was not GoogleTV as advertised.
