Phenomenal value, better than my old galaxy buds

Fantastic quality for the price. Good battery life, very stable connection from a long distance, and I can connect them to 2 devices. They fit my ears perfectly. Noise cancellation is decent and functions well enough, though there are better options if that's the primary feature you're looking for. Transparency mode works great. I'm very impressed overall with these earbuds!Ver más

I’ve been a big supporter of CMF by Nothing for a while now.My first purchase was back in late 2023 when I bought the original CMF Buds. I had just switched from AirPods, and I was honestly blown away by how good they were for the price. They sounded great, were comfortable, and became my daily earbuds for almost two years.Eventually I lost one of them, so I decided it was time for an upgrade and picked up the CMF Buds 2a. Once again, Nothing delivered. The sound quality was excellent, and they held up incredibly well. I even accidentally jumped into a pool with one earbud still in my pocket, and it continued working perfectly afterward. As someone who works in lawn care and landscaping, my earbuds get used hard every day, so durability is important to me.My only real complaints with the 2a were the battery life and the noise cancellation occasionally cutting in and out.This week I upgraded to the CMF Buds Pro 2, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. They updated within minutes of taking them out of the box, they’re extremely comfortable, lightweight, and almost disappear once they’re in my ears.I chose the blue color because it had the fastest shipping, but it’s also a nice change after only owning white and black earbuds.The Nothing X app is excellent, and the Pro 2 have noticeably more features than the previous models. Adaptive noise cancellation has been especially useful while I’m working, and the Bluetooth connection has been very reliable even at longer distances.Over the past few years, CMF by Nothing has consistently impressed me with the value they offer. I’ve had a great experience across multiple generations of their earbuds, and I plan to keep using their products in the future.Ver más

Best earbuds for the price ever!

These earbuds are great! I love the dial, especially; I didn't realise you could also press it to pause or whatever you program it to do. They really fit great right out of the box. They were super easy to connect with my phone, watch, and PC, and the app is super sleek and clean, and easy to use. I really feel like "nothing" is in my ear! The case is small enough to fit in any pocket, and since the case is square, you can sit it standing up, which I don't see in a lot of earbuds. Choose these if you want budget, high-quality earbuds!Ver más

Excellent earbuds for the price, case is a little clumsy.

I'm too much of a cheapskate and music isn't important enough to me to justify buying a high-end model of earbuds. But when my last pair went belly up and the replacement model I ordered were basically unusable, I decided to look for a nicer model.I researched a bit and heard that these punch above their weight. Came here to check them out and found they were on a great spring sale deal. So I went ahead and got them, and I'm really glad I did.The sound quality and noise cancelling are both the best I've ever used in earbuds. They connect instantly to every device I've used them with, and they switch between active devices seamlessly. Battery life seems really good too.The case is actually the weakest point of this item. It's got sharpish-square edges compared to most, so it's not as easy to get in or out of pockets. Also, it's awkward to open one-handed. But that's not too bad because it's not even obvious which direction it opens. I inevitably end up trying to open it some direction other than where the hinges are. I assume I'll get used to it eventually, but for now it's kind of annoying. The wheel roller/button on the case is kind of cool, but not exactly needed since I usually find the device controls easier to handle. I ended up disabling the button in the app settings so as to not accidentally bump it in my pocket.Overall that's a small downside compared to the quality and sound of the earbuds themselves. I'm glad I bought them, I only hope future versions of the product have a case that's easier to handle.Ver más

Best I've owned in their price range.

Having two teenagers in the house that lose or damage things frequently, it's hard to justify buying premium products sometimes. Even when it's not for the kids, you tend to go budget because of how often things get "borrowed" without asking. So when I saw how great the reviews were on various tech sites for all of Nothing's earbud offerings, these absolutely grabbed my attention.I'll start with the case. Something about the square shape with its rounded corners just feels right in the hand, far better than the common rectangular casket shape favored by many budget brands. It also allows for a variety of grips when accessing the Smart Dial. The dial itself is fun to fidget with, even when disabled, but is also very functional if you're the kind of person that finds yourself skipping around in playlists or changing the volume frequently. And since the dial is customizable in Nothing's "Nothing X" app, you can configure it in a way that makes sense to you so it won't likely be a "use it once and then forget about it" feature. The matte finish is feels and looks nice, especially to someone like me who thinks glossy plastic looks a little tacky, but it does take fingerprints very easily. It's very lightweight which I have mixed feelings about since that implies they could have installed a larger or more dense battery pack but, since I've yet to run it dry as is, I'm probably just being nitpicky.Now for the buds themselves. They're a little chunky, but that's common at this price point, and it doesn't make them uncomfortable at all. The multiple microphones on each bud pick are reasonably clear and do a fair job canceling unwanted noise, though I did find that in their passthrough noise cancelling mode they had trouble picking up something about my daughter's vocal range but it only happens when I'm talking to her. The noise cancelling is pretty solid. They won't block out extremely loud sounds like power tools, but no Active Noise Cancelling earbud/headphone should given that ANC works by transmitting an interference wave and that signal being too strong could just as easily damage your hearing as the noise you're hoping to block out; that's more of a task for ear protection brands like ISOtunes. The DIRAC feature must be working pretty well, because I've not messed with the EQ since getting them and everything I've listened to with them (gaming, classic rock, heavy industrial, mopey goth rock, Indigenous punk, 80s new wave, movies, etc) still manages to sound well balanced for the media. The surround sound feature isn't something most people will really notice or have a use for and likely should be turned off to save battery, but I do find that if I wear them while gaming on my PC with Dolby Atmos enabled turning it on does improve the effect (and combined with the ANC, it's super immersive). The default bass is pretty solid and while I do notice a subtle difference with the bass boosting feature enabled, it's not significant enough to justify the extra battery drain and it's not all that necessary anyway. Like the Smart Dial, the touch functions on the buds are customizable and pretty responsive but I do find myself preferring to the more tactile dial.The software situation is a mixed bag. There are a lot of features here that are controlled via software. The phone app is great and made pairing the headset, customizing the controls, and setting the sound enhancing features a breeze. If I only used them with my phone, that would be fine. I also like to use them with my PC sometimes (I have loud neighbors and the ANC helps block them out when I'm trying to game or work on something.) and I'm baffled by their decision to abandon a dedicated PC app for a web based one that doesn't function across all browsers and, in my experience, has yet to work with these buds despite listing them as compatible.

Switched from Apple and haven't looked back — these are my everyday earbuds now

I used to reach for my AirPods without thinking about it. They were just the default. Then I tried these and the default changed.The sound is the first thing. Bass-forward in a way that AirPods aren't, which took maybe a day to adjust to and then felt like the right call. The 11mm driver pushes real low-end depth without muddying the mids, and vocals sit clearly in the mix. Apple's tuning is more neutral and polished out of the box, but with the Nothing X app's EQ and the five Ultra Bass levels, these get dialed in fast. Once they are, I prefer them.The noise cancellation runs at 50dB and handles the situations I actually care about — commuting, working with background noise, blocking out a loud room. It's not going to out-perform AirPods Pro on sudden sharp sounds, but for steady low-frequency noise like traffic and HVAC it's every bit as effective in real use. I stopped noticing the gap pretty quickly.The Smart Dial on the case is the feature I bring up when people ask about these. It's a physical metal ring on the charging case that lets you adjust volume, skip tracks, and toggle ANC modes without touching the earbuds or pulling out your phone. Keeping the earbud seal intact while changing volume is one of those things you don't realize matters until you start doing it. AirPods have no equivalent.Battery life gets me through a full day without thinking about it. When I do need to top up, 10 minutes in the case gives back about 3 hours of playback. The total runtime with the case is 43 hours, which in practice means charging the case once or twice a week rather than managing daily.The one area where AirPods still have an edge is the Apple ecosystem integration — the automatic device switching between iPhone, iPad, and Mac is seamless in a way these don't match. Multipoint connection works across two devices but the handoff isn't as frictionless. If you live entirely in the Apple ecosystem that gap is real. If you don't, it largely disappears.For the price difference these aren't a compromise. They're a preference.Ver más
