10/10 Great Build!
10/10 This was so much fun to build! Took me roughly 15 hours in total.It was well worth the money, in my opinion, but I also have a themed basement where I can leave it on display, so it doubles as decor. I loved the attention to detail, like how they included a couple of orc helmets that looked like the ones Sam and Frodo wore in Mordor. I did come across one missing piece in the whole set-- a small gray slanted brick that's fairly common. I had an extra in my stash, so it was no big deal. I've pictured it here, in case anyone is interested. I've also pictured the extra pieces leftover upon completion, mostly small bits and bobs. I loved the mechanics of the gate and throne opening, though the gate lever felt a little flimsy for everything that was attached to it. I appreciated them leaving the eye to last because it helped finish on a really high note after all the black. Joining the separate sections was super satisfying and the tower designs were great. I wish the sword/spears that make up the design on the top front were attached in a way that they were able to be kept straighter, but that's me being OCD. I also wish the light for the eye was a switch so I could leave it on sometimes rather than have to hold it in to turn it on, but I'll probably end up getting the light kit for it anyway so no big deal. Overall, a great and super rewarding build!Ver másVer menos
