Vanilla Skin & Beach Skin
Vanilla Skin:I love Vanilla Skin in every form it comes in, so I was really excited to add this oil to the collection. The scent is exactly what I hoped it would be. It smells just like the perfume and body mist to me: soft, creamy, woody, sugary, and very vanilla-forward. It sits a little closer to the skin than the mist or perfume, but it still has presence. The texture is one of my favorite things about it. It’s silky, lightweight, and feels more like a dry oil than a traditional body oil. It absorbs right into the skin instead of sitting on top, so it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy. It just leaves my skin looking soft and glowy. I especially love using it right after a shower because it really helps lock in moisture. With ingredients like squalane and ceramide-rich oils, it leaves my skin feeling soft, nourished, and moisturized for hours. Where this really shines for me, though, is layering. It creates the perfect base layer. Using this after my shower, before body mist or perfume, really helps my fragrances last longer. It’s especially beautiful under the Vanilla Skin mist and perfume, but it also works so well with other fragrances too. It really pairs with almost anything. The frosted glass bottle and nice pump make it feel just as luxe as the rest of the line.Beach Skin:I knew I needed this oil the moment I saw it. Phlur's body oils are so good. With this one though, I was honestly a little nervous about the shimmer. At my age, I don’t want visible glitter all over my skin, and I definitely don’t want it transferring onto everything I touch. Thankfully, this oil is nothing like that at all. It’s actually really beautiful. It gives the slightest bit of shimmer, but you only really notice it when the light hits your skin a certain way, and when it does, it’s so pretty. The oil itself feels really nice. It’s lightweight, sinks in quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling behind. It gives my skin a really pretty glow, and I smell really good. This is honestly the perfect body oil for summer. The scent is very beachy, but not sweet. I get the coconut, the salty ocean air, and that warm skin scent. It’s musky, salty, airy, and very solar, and it really does smell like a beach day. It just smells like sun-warmed skin. I love the shimmer, I love how soft it makes my skin feel, and the scent is perfect for summer. This is going to be an easy reach for me all season, and I’m so happy to add it to my Phlur collection.Ver másVer menos
