Downsizing was a good choice
Very impressed with how the 38mm case size wears on my small wrist, a sports watch with a little more elegance to it. Been an Invicta collector for many years, and recently switched to small watches from the 52mm monsters I used to sport. At my age, this example is more appropriate, and being a fan of gold watches lately. Only removed 2 links, and I wear it loose enough to accommodate wrist swelling on hot days, but stays well centered when cool.The bezel action is only slightly tight, very clicky, and have others that are easier to turn, but the coin edge has plenty of grip. Lume is typical for Invicta, in a dark room, the hands are legible for about 6 hours, and the markers disappear quickly.I like automatic watches, but am only buying quartz lately. The accuracy wins over the aging alternative, not to mention making for a slimmer watch. Quarts is also much less expensive. Only a staunch collector will appreciate an automatic movement, and at a glance, quartz still has prestige and ease of use, along with keeping time if it’s in a longer rotation.Grabbed this one on sale for $50, an excellent value for a watch resembling a much older vintage Submariner. Rolex doesn’t make the 38mm anymore. If you find 42mm too big for your wrist, I can highly recommend this one.Ver másVer menos
