Helped my heart palpitations and leg cramps!
For the past six weeks, I experienced heart palpitations and leg cramps. After researching potential causes, magnesium deficiency was identified as a possible contributing factor for both symptoms. I began supplementation cautiously with one capsule to ensure there were no gastrointestinal side effects, and I tolerated it well. Magnesium is available in several forms, including citrate, oxide, and glycinate. Glycinate is generally better tolerated and, as a chelated form, is often associated with improved absorption. After a few days, I noticed a reduction in leg cramps, although the heart palpitations persisted. I consulted my physician, who ordered an electrolyte panel and thyroid testing. All results, including magnesium levels, were within normal range. However, serum magnesium does not always reflect total body magnesium status, as magnesium is utilized extensively in muscle and cardiac function. Based on this, she also recommended continuing supplementation. I increased to two capsules in the morning, but the palpitations continued. After approximately one week, I adjusted the regimen to one capsule in the morning and one in the evening. Over the past two weeks, I have noticed a significant improvement, with palpitations reduced from occurring frequently throughout the day to only very occasional episodes. I have personally found it beneficial and plan to continue using it as part of my routine and I trust this brand.Ver másVer menos
