The Best Travel Power Bank I’ve Tried — Almost Perfect
The Best Travel PoweAfter ordering and testing several highly-rated power banks, this CUKTECH 15 SE 20,000 mAh Power Bank is hands-down the best of the bunch for my needs—and I’m very picky. What I was looking for:• ✅ Airplane safe – At 20,000mah, it hits the maximum battery size for the FAA limit and is totally fine for carry-on. No more worries at security or the gate.• ✅ True pass-through charging on every port – This was a dealbreaker for me, and most power banks I tried only allow it on one port, maybe. It also significantly slowed down the charge and the output. With this one, I can charge the battery and still draw power from all ports at once - all at full speed. That makes a huge difference when traveling and trying to keep everything topped up.• ✅ Fully powers my MacBook Pro – I’ve run it as my main power source while working remotely, and it keeps up without a hitch.• ✅ Daisy chains like a champ – I’ve successfully used it in a multi-device setup: powering my MacBook, charging an external battery, running an iPad and phone—all through different ports—without issue. This thing handles complex loads like a pro.Build quality is solid, charging speeds are fast (tested and hit up to 65 W per USB‑C port), and the digital battery display is a nice touch, although i wish it showed wattage not just percentage.The only things I wish it had: a built-in AC wall plug and built-in cables. Those would make it absolutely perfect. But even without them, this is still the charger I’m keeping and traveling with. Everything else I ordered is going back.If you’re looking for a compact, carry-on-compliant, high-output power bank that just works—and lets you charge multiple devices and itself at the same time at a reasonable price—this is it.
