I've owned this beast for a year and it's absolutely awesome.
I was hesitant to buy this thing because it just seems so absurd, but I caught it on sale for a good price and pulled the trigger. The newer firmware updates seem to have resolved some minor issues like the screen not wanting to turn on after being shut off for a while. This thing feels extremely well built, it's heavy and it charges everything I throw at it. I no longer use laptop chargers at all and just charge everything using this now. Make sure you buy high quality USB-C cables for this or otherwise it's a waste of money because normal cables won't charge at the higher voltage. I don't use a lot of the fancy features aside from the clock function, honestly I usually just keep the screen turned off anyways. Hoping it lasts as long as my other Anker chargers despite all of the new technology built into it. I charge several devices every day with this and it always surprises me how fast and effective it works. No regrets buying this overpriced and overbuilt charger so far. Not at all.Ver másVer menos

Awesome Charging Station for a Multi-Device Setup
I've been using the Anker Prime 250W 6-Port Charging Station for a while now, and it has completely cleaned up my desk. Instead of having multiple chargers plugged into a power strip, I can charge my laptop, phone, tablet, earbuds, and other devices all from one compact unit.One feature I really enjoy is the companion mobile app. I connected the charging station via Bluetooth in just a few minutes, and it's been great being able to monitor and manage the charger from my phone. I especially like that I can keep track of up to four connected devices at once, making it easy to see charging status and power usage without looking at the display on my desk.The charging speeds have been excellent. My laptop charges quickly, and I haven't noticed any slowdown even when several devices are connected at the same time. The LCD display is another nice touch because it shows exactly how much power each device is receiving, and the control dial is simple and intuitive to use.The build quality is what I've come to expect from Anker. It feels solid, stays relatively cool while in use, and gives me confidence when charging expensive devices.The only downside is the price, but if you have multiple USB-C devices and want a clean, organized workspace, it's well worth the investment. Worth the hype. The wifi isn't as necessary as you might fear.
It's really hard to justify an expensive thing like this when you can get cheaper GaN wall plugs that will do 300W or 600W. I took a risk because it's so easy to return things on Amazon and I'm actually kind of hooked. For one, those cheaper plugs... sometimes sounds too good to be true really nails it. But let me explain why this thing is awesome.* It has the power, and it tells you how much power it's using so well and so clearly. It is super charging my laptop and phone at the same time and it's not even touching half its capacity. It's awesome.* A lot of the configuration requires a mobile app, bluetooth, and wifi and that really scared me almost to the point of not buying it at first. Some of it still is pretty stupid but let me explain my experience. I connected it to my phone over bluetooth, and then started a hotspot on my phone to give it wifi so it could update its firmware. After the update and after using my phone to pick some cooler clock backgrounds, I no longer need bluetooth or wifi for any of it. It just works. The app lets you configure the clock to come on as your screensaver when the power display times out which you can configure to happen after 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, or never (if you want it to always show the power display). The clock you can configure to only be an active screensaver during certain hours and on certain days, so I have it set up from 5 AM-10 PM on weekdays. Brilliant. I don't need wifi for any of this past the initial setup and it's so flexible.This is expensive, and you can get by with cheaper wall plugs, though you might need a couple of them. But if you want a cool toy that actually does something, this actually works.Ver másVer menos

Excellent Multi-Device Charging Solution
This Anker Prime 250W 6-Port GaN Charging Station has been a great solution for powering multiple devices without clutter. With six ports and plenty of total output, it easily handles phones, tablets, laptops, and accessories all at once. The GaN technology helps it stay efficient and relatively cool, even under heavier loads.The build quality feels solid and premium, and the layout keeps everything organized on a desk or nightstand. Charging speeds have been consistent and reliable across devices.There are a couple of limitations to be aware of. The smart features support only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and not 5 GHz, which may require adjusting your router settings during setup. It also does not include wireless charging, so you’ll still need cables for all devices.Overall, it’s a powerful and well-built charging station that simplifies multi-device charging. Excellent Charging Station
Once again, Anker has another solid product. The overall quality is as expected from Anker - it is solid and seems very durable. I've been using this charging station for quite some time now and it performs flawlessly every time. While you could argue this is a costly charger, I feel it is well worth it. It can handle an iPhone 16 Pro Max, a 16" MacBook Pro and an iPad Pro with no issues at all, with still power for more. I use this both at home and while traveling. I especially appreciate it when traveling so I don't have to take multiple "power bricks" with me. I use this for my camera equipment as well. It looks and feels like a high-end premium product, and it certainly functions as one. I have loaded up all the ports with various devices and it's never let me down. It has plenty of power to handle multiple device charging, and even when loaded up, I still get fast charging times. The compact size is perfect for traveling, and I don't find it excessively heavy, however it is not lightweight at all. I would say the weight is all part of the overall quality and durability of the station. It's not just a hollow plastic box. I totally would recommend this to anyone who has multiple device charging needs.Ver másVer menos

An awesome USB power station that is over-priced for the feature set.
The short and sweet of it is this does provide an impressive amount of power to multiple high-demand devices at once, but is very pricey $150 and the features really don't justify the price. If you can get it on sale though, you may want to try it out.I'm not going to lie, I really liked the look of this Anker Prime Charging Station. It's design is a clever call-back to the old digital alarm clocks of the 90's complete with a knob on the side for controlling it.The main two nice features of this is a) it will automatically adjust charging distribution based on devices and b) the display will tell you exactly how much each device draws along with total draw.Because the transformer is built into the unit the A/C cord is just a standard 2-prong without a grounding connection. I'm not thrilled with that but the risks are pretty minor. However it does make the unit pretty dang heavy, weighing in at nearly 1.5 pounds!A number of users have mentioned the app for this device, but you do not need an app to use all the features. And if you do use the app, you are not required to create an account. For some reason Anker claims you have to create an account to connect it to WiFi but you can connect to it from your phone with just bluetooth. However you will need to agree to the usual privacy policy crap.However the app doesn't really do anything except let you view the device status and trivial things like changing the background image. None of that affects functionality.Overall I'm pretty happy with this though I doubt I'll ever begin to max out it's power charging ability.
