Pretty Cool
Excellent product, and one I don't regret purchasing. This was the correct long-term solution for preserving a laptop whose CPU melted a week before its warranty ended. Durable; the pad has remained in good condition despite over a year of rough transport and regular use. Like any other cooling pad, it can get noisy at high power, but I haven't needed to use full blast very often (about 1200-1600 rpm out of 2800 max is enough to keep the laptop cool to the touch, depending on what I'm running), and it's easy & satisfying to adjust. Kind customer service; I was happy with the way it arrived. I haven't found a use for the USB ports myself, but they're nice to have. Very reasonably lightweight. Adjustable poses to keep it mostly comfortable if you're not using a mechanical keyboard & mouse. My laptop has never slipped off when using the arms to keep it in place.Ver másVer menos

Immediately dropped Temps upon placement
I see a lot of reviews about products and just like most of you the first thought that goes through my head is "Yeah right buddy, not going to trick me out my minimum wage-hard earned dollars, where i get treated like a slave at work", but this product and my review that I leave behind? It's real dood. When the package arrived, I Immediately went to get it to bring it into the room, turned on Path Of Exile 2 on my laptop to set a bench for the temps first before putting the laptop of the new laptop cooling pad. Results while having Path of Exile 2 running before putting the new cooling pad on was: Thermal throttling at 80C (I have it set to turn down CPU and GPU clock speed when it reaches those temps), Fps dropped from 40-45 range in town to 35-40FPS and laptop fans roaring. It wasn't immediate, when I turned on the laptop the Temps were at 70C and then slowly started creeping towards 80C (total of 3 minutes for this to happen).Ok so I got my base bench set. 80C, Thermal throttling amd 35-40fps without the new cooling pad. So let me tell you what happened when I plugged in the new cooling pad and put my laptop on it right away at 1300 RPM on the adjustable dial setting on the pad.Immediately and I mean Immediately the Temps started dropping fast from 80C to 70C, and I was skeptical at first and thought it would stop there but no it kept on going. I was still running PoE2 and standing in the same spot, I noticed my frames jumped back up not only to 45, but now even at 50fps in town (no more thernal throttling), the Temps continued to drop all the way to 65C! I'm pretty blown away by this, every cooling pad I had in the past was maybe 1C drop in Temps or nothing at all.I decided to crank the RPM on the cooling pad to max and saw the Temps stabilize at 60C while running the game... Way to noisy for me, 1200-1300 rpm is the sweet spot for balance of sound and output, anything more is diminishing returns. But we are talking about my laptop before I out in a hard throttle limit upon reaching 80C used to get up to 90C, and this cooling pad dropped it down to 65C at 1200RPM and 59-60C at 2800RPM. That's why I wanted to leave this review, and I was skeptical of everyone else's reviews, but my laptop is getting old, and I already replaced the Thermal paste recently and was tired of worrying about Temps. Also I'd like to mention my laptop is a thin design, Maingear Vector Pro 3080. Not much air flow room in a laptop, and especially not a thin one like mine. This thing is awesome, get one if you are like me and seriously worried about Temps. One thing I'd like to add, is my laptop panel on the bottom only has mesh intakes on 1/3rd of the bottom, and it was still enough for the laptop cooling pad to blow air into there and do its job, how's that for pretty a good deal? 👍Ver másVer menos

Excellent Cooler for Power Users
This cooler is variable speed which is convenient when I power-use my laptop. My 16 inch laptop fits well and is much cooler now. Noise level increases with higher fan speed, but isn't too loud.

Does the job and does it well
I have a powerful 15" laptop (i9/RTX) for compute tasks. Using just a regular low-pressure cooling pad was not doing it, because with 90%+ load on the CPU and GPU I was getting temperatures over 90C, especially on the CPU (with the GPU hovering around 80-85C).I have been testing this high-pressure cooler since I got it 2 days ago, and with the same load I now get temperatures of 71-75C on the CPU and 56-65 on the GPU. No kidding. This is not on the highest "2800" setting, but on the one that I found to be the best compromise between noise and performance under load, which is "1200". Going up to 2800 does give an extra drop of 2-3 degrees, but the noise is very high and thus not worth it.For times when I don't stress it with high compute tasks, I keep the cooler on 600 because that's all needed for casual web browsing and watching videos while keeping the noise very low.Overall I'm very satisfied with the Llano v12. The one I have is without RGB because that is silly in a cooling pad, but with integrated USB hub which is useful. My laptop has 2 USB-C ports but only one USB-A which I use for an external mouse. Using the cooler's integrated hub gives me an extra 3 USB-A ports at the price of one USB-C, and avoids having to use a dongle-type hub. I do occasionally need to connect external USB-A devices like a scanner or a printer. If I were to list cons - so far I have found only one. The power on/off button is flat and cannot be felt under the finger if it's dark. And since it's a press-and-hold type button, you cannot just swipe your finger across the general place where it is and expect it to work.I hope this cooler is durable and lasts a long time, especially for what it costs. I'm overall happy with it.Ver másVer menos

Loud, Big, Powerful - Will Cool Your Laptop!
So far I'm very happy I know almost everyone uses Metric(C) to view their results but I viewed mine in Imperial(F)It is quite loud imo but it did cool down my laptop from 201F to 174F at 1200 speed and down to 167F at 1500 speed while playing WolfQuest (which is a poorly optimized game it seems) which isn't amazing but it is much better than before. I'm sure if I turned it up to a higher speed it would do more but then it sounds like I'm in a microwave with the fan turned on.My old laptop fan- which was about $20 would cool it to 193F so significantly more improvement than that.It is also quite large. It does fit my laptop but compared to the minimalist design of my previous laptop fan this one does take significantly more space. So much that I had to adjust my setup. I usually put my laptop on the top bar of my desk- with a second keyboard on the bottom part, but it was impossible with this laptop fan. It also came with a free XL mouse pad!I'll edit this review a little later when I've had it for some timeVer másVer menos

This was what I was looking for
This one works pretty well, like that it has a filter screen thing in it. It is a bit louder, but I forget about itwhen I have my headset on and it cools well enough that I think it’s worth the noise. It’s light, a little bit on the bigger side, the legs in the back can tilt it toward you fairly far, which is nice.Ver másVer menos
