Terrible product

This product is not work outside. You must keep it plugged in at all times that’s worthless for me. I work in my van my phone overheats. This thing cannot even cool my phone down at all even plugged in in my van. It’s the worst product I’ve ever bought in my life off of Amazon. I don’t suggest it to anybody it might work inside a house when you have air conditioning, but it does not work in a vehicle or an outside job and you also have to keep it plugged in on all the advertisements. It’s supposed to charge your phone also and it does not do that.Ver más

Really gets cold

This phone cooler works really well. It is really remarkable how col it gets. The only drawback is it has to be plugin to work. The charging cord is short so I use my long c-charger. The device is magnetic and I have a Magsafe phone cover so it works great. It is very secure. It comes with an adhesive magnetic ring if you need one. This gets so cold that with a little imagination you could find several other uses for this cooler!Ver más

This gets ICY cold and works better then i imagined! Saved my battery from overheating

-I’m honestly surprised that this little fan that’s so inexpensive works as well as it does.-I didn’t have to use the clips, it magnetized easy to my phone case but does come with a magnetic sticker for phones or cases without the magnetic spot or you can use the clips for each side of your phone.-I have only used this one time so far but I used it all day and forgot to turn if off when I fell asleep so it ran about 20 hours straight with no issues.-The back of this fan, that is against your phone, gets VERY icy cold, it takes longer to cool your phone if you have a silicone case like me but it works really quickly to cool your phone down.-There’s level 1-3 you can choose to use. I had mine on level 3 the whole time it was on, and It definitely got the job done, my iPhone was overheating badly and draining my battery fast! When I had this attached, not once did a message pop up saying “your phones overheating”, or turn off because of the heat.-It comes nicely packaged too in a little hard plastic box where you can store it when not using or keep the extra attachments.The only things I noticed that are more of a inconvenience then a problem is that when you are using this you can’t lay your phone on it because it’s a fan and so it needs to have the air circulating so you need to keep it more upright, just attach it to a phone holder.The only other thing is that it has to be plugged into a usb power source to be on. You can’t pre-charge it and it uses ALOT of battery power. When I first plugged it into my 50,000MAh power bank it really sucked up the battery fast. When I was inside though i plugged it into my wall charger and that was fine but yes if you need it outside (which is basically why I bought this) then make sure to get a power bank with a lot of power.For me those 2 things aren’t deal breakers at all. I was using bags of ice and shielding it from the sun but it would still over heat so really annoying when your outside a lot.-I just found a small little cross body purse and put my power bank in there with a long charger cable and it worked great.-Also you will have to keep it plugged in so when ur using your phone there is a cord attached but having a long cord and throwing a little crossbody over makes it easier.It’s really not a big deal if your phone overheats a lot, I was already having to carry a power bank with me places I went because of the battery draining so fast.At least this way I’m keeping the battery cool and not damaging it worse from the high heat.It really does get icy icy cold and I think if you don’t have your case on then it will work even better but even with my case I’m super thankful I found this! Works great and for the price is definitely worth trying at least. I’m happy with it, I hope it continues to work as I’ve only used it for 20 hours so far but so far it’s been a life savor for my phone battery and I definitely would recommend it.-Now i just got it this week, so if it stops working, ill be updating but ya it’s pretty great so far and im actually impressed.

Struggled in full sun and high heat outdoor game play.

I wanted to love this. I tested it at home and my phone got noticeably cooler (lED read 8). I tested it at outside for 30 mins of Pokemon Go game play in full sun and 90 degree weather and it was STRUGGLING to cool my phone at the highest setting (LED read in mid 20s). My guess is it corresponds to the temp of the phone. (The instructions are not in English to fully understand). I will say that my phone did not overheat, but it was still very warm to the touch and the bottom pad of the fan was barely "cool" since my phone got so hot. Did it do its job, yes, but barely and I think if I played any longer I would have had the iphone overheat issues of phone dimming and game glitching out. For the price, I will likely keep as a back up but look for one that will cool a little better.Ver más
