  Wow, these boots are incredibly comfortable—I'd call them the Lexus of work boots. The fit is spot on. I usually fall somewhere between a 9.5W and 10.5W depending on the brand, but the 9.5W in these fits perfectly.They seem very well built, and they'll be put through the wringer this week, so I'll update my review after I've had more time with them.Before these, I wore a 10-inch boot that performed great, but it constantly rubbed against the sides of my legs and ankles. I need to stay mobile on the job, so that became a dealbreaker.I also like the puncture-resistant protection for nails and the waterproof features. As for the toe, composite will always be my preference over steel—especially in the winter. They're lighter, more comfortable, and they don't get freezing cold or overly hot with changing temperatures like steel toes can.Ver másVer menos

  Don't give up on these boots

  These boots are great. They're about a half size too big, though. However, I used the insoles that I put in all my other shoes on top of the insoles that came with them. Now they're perfect and plenty comfortable. They broke in about an hour later. However, the top cushion for your calf took three days to break in and be comfortable. Weight is not a big deal for me; I've worn actual steel-toe boots that were heavier. They are definitely waterproof. I wore them through the snow without any issues. They're plenty warm, yet not too warm, where I work inside a manufacturing plant. The thickness is perfect as well. The carts I have to push around have some sharp sides, and even though I have a shallow gash now, it didn't go all the way through, so that's a relief.Ver másVer menos

  Awesome boots!

  Timberland like any like any other brand has become more fashion than function thanks to celebs making the boots popular. Thankfully, Timberland still makes something that is functional in the real world!! Staying true to their roots. The Timberland Pro Boondock 6" boot are amazing! The boots feature a composite safety toe, electrical hazard protection, completely waterproof, and 400 grams of insulation. I purchased the boots during the long cold harsh winter. The boots feel hefty but very solid! Upon wearing them, you can sense the anti-fatigue cushioning and the boots don't feel as heavy. From other reviews, there is a break in period (at least I hope so) because there is a slight discomfort/rubbing on the left side around rear of the ankle. I think over time the boots will feel better.I originally purchased the Timberland Pro Boondock 6" Non-insulated in a size 7.5 because a local department store was closing the priced seemed right. 7.5 was not bad, however I felt that my toes would curl or push too much against the toe cap when walking. i decided to purchase the insulated version in my normal size 8. Feels slightly larger but plenty of space now!! More room for boot socks!I have tried boots made by Wolverine, Skechers, Carharrt, etc. Some of the boots did not last long at all! While others became useless after the outsole started deteriorating. Timberland was never my first choice, because I felt they were overpriced. In hind sight, I hope the Boondock prove me wrong! The boots look great with the pebbled leather and protective toe cap and plastic lining around the ankle. I did apply SNO-SEAL to the boots to protect the leather. That is something I have been using for years.Edit:Its been a couple of weeks, winter has started! The tread on the boots is great in snowy conditions, wore the boots while snow blowing the drive way. The insulation keeps your feet cozy, even with thinner socks. The rubbing went away and the boots are comfortable.I went for a winter hike on a sunny but very cold day. The boots kept my feet warm! However, i ended up slipping in a creek and the boots got soaked! I had two pairs of socks on, while I could feel water sloshing around, my feet did not freeze and stayed comfortable. The hike was only a mile but I have to believe that the insulation really helped.Ver más

  Very comfortable. Fits well but I order Tims bc I know the size I need already. Excellent boots.

  Super warm!

  I bought these for My Husband for Christmas and he is over the moon about these boots. And let me say My Husband knows about boots- he goes through boots like he would not believe lol, so needless to say he is picky about his boots. He needed a warm waterproof durable boot. He does construction and does a lot of outside work everyday, no matter the weather. So warm and waterproof were an absolute MUST! & my husband absolutely approves of these boots! He keep saying how warm his feet are all day! He is so happy with these boots, he really cannot get over how warm they’ve kept his feet, in freezing weather, standing in water he’s really put them to the test already and he says they are extremely waterproof. His feet haven’t even gotten damp and his feet have been so warm. His feet used to be the first thing to get cold- that’s no longer the case, it’s now his hands lol.Seriously though, he says they are super comfortable, they have a good cushion sole, they have a good support through the ankle, they seem to be durable, I will update this IF they breakdown or something changes.These boots were exactly what I was looking for, for him & they were exactly what he wanted/ needed !These are perfect for anyone working outside in the cold weather, who wants warm dry feet!The only thing he says about the boots is when he is sitting still , like riding in the truck, his toes feel chilly, but once he gets moving he says they warm right up .They are a little pricey, but they are worth it.Timberlands have been my husbands go to boot for years and years.So far- These boots have surpassed the timberland expectations!Ver másVer menos

  These Boots look good on BIG GUYS ONLY.....

  I have been shopping on Amazon for many years now and I am very satisfied with the service (98% of the Time, their may be an exception if something is being delivered from overseas) ..... This is one of the very few times I write a review. I don't want anyone else who is willing to pay $185 for these shoes, but in turn being disappointed.. Hold your horses.... I didn't say they were bad... They are very well made and do feel that they are worth every penny..However I do want to point out a few things about this particular model in Timberland.... First off, these shoes will look on someone at least 5' 10'' tall and has a large posture, due to the size and width of these shoes. Because of the amazing thick insulation inside the boots, the front portion along with the sides is very bulky, as I said a BIG Guy can pull of these boots.. Now for their size and width, they are very lightweight. They are not heavy at all, they do feel comfortable to walk in.. But as I said, they will not look on someone that is 5'6'' 170 lbs,...When these shoes arrived in the mail, I immediately tried on them on, but because of the width and the look of these boots, I was very disappointed. I contacted the seller and exchanged it with the NON INSULATED Model in the same exact style... I love the look and the feel of these Premium quality boots, but not the oversized model which is INSULATED...Other than that, do not hesitate to buy these. Gave it 4 star because they weren't appropriate for me. Otherwise deserves a *****Ver másVer menos
