Satisfied with & grateful for color results: grays are now a light/medium ashy brown
I'm giving this 5 stars because it's the one product on the market - I've tried so many - that darkens my hair without dyes or causing hair loss (John Frieda shampoo for Brunettes & Clairol semi-permanent Beautiful Collection, I'm looking at you.) Gray hair can look fabulous, but it does not look fabulous on me. So my only two options for coloring my hair are either Moda Moda or permanent hair dye.Permanent dye is labor-intensive, inconvenient, messy. Also, because my hair grows so fast, I develop that harsh border line between brown and new-growing gray within a week of a dye job. I can't stand that.Moda Moda does not darken my grays to my natural dark brown. Instead, it tints it mostly to an ashy light medium-brown. A few stubborn grays can only darken to a yellowish-blonde. But that color mix is more than good enough for me. It looks much much better than the natural grays that would otherwise be there. And there's no harsh gray-brown color differentiation from new growth at the roots. All this via a regular hair shampoo session, which I'd be doing anyway.I wash my hair only 2-3 times a week. Maybe if I washed it everyday, it would darken more (?) But my hair gets too dry with a daily shampoo (with any product).Tip: I get better color results using cool/tepid rather than hot water.Ver másVer menos
