  Great Kids Tablet

  I love this tablet! It was easy to set up, works great, and my grandchild enjoys using it. The protective case is sturdy, and it's a great value for a kids' tablet.   Great basic tablet for a good price

  Perfect for toddler. Easy to set up, and use, has the parent app to control content, and usage. Have an adult tablet, and another child tablet, and we like all 3 of them. Speed is excellant for a toddler. Plays movies from apps without any difficulty, no lag, and I have downloaded several movies to it. Great quality, and very durable for toddlers who throw things, or just drop them when they are done with them. I have not had a storage issue at this time. Screen quality, and picture is good. I bought a screen protector, and the case that comes with it is very durable. Not compatible with the google app store which is frustrating. Easy to download and read books.Ver másVer menos

  Daughter loves it!

  My daughter loves this! She probably dropped it 50 times already and it still works! I dont love that you have to pay for Amazon kid stuff, well I guess I dont have to pay but she uses all the kid stuff so I guess I do lol. But definitely worth the money

  Kindle Fire HD Tablet for Kids

  This is the second Kindle Fire we have purchased for our special needs daughter. I ordered the first one 2-3 years ago as a Christmas present. I honestly had doubts that she would use it, but they are on sale so I decided to give it a try. She has LOVED it...she really took to it and her fingers fly on it. The memory was running a bit low, so I saw they were discounted again so I ordered her a new one. The first one is pink (and I will add, it does still work, so she can actually use both). The new one is blue and a bit larger footprint size but still easy to handle, lightweight, very tough with the case, which is a great thing if you have small children or toddlers who might be a little rough on one. We don't have that issue, but it's nice to know it is so rugged in case our daughter drops it accidentally or something. Very nicely portable, and very educational. There are many kid-related apps available for download and some already installed. It has safety blocks on it to prevent a child from accessing inappropriate material or from downloading apps you don't want them to download. So basically it has the option for two users for parental controls. You can limit screen time, and monitor usage, even monitor remotely. It lasts about 8-10 hours (approximately) on a full charge and it charges quickly. A charger comes with it. 4GB RAM, 64 GB storage, up to 1 TB of expandable memory, 8-inch HD display, wifi-connectivity. You can also watch You-tube videos, download and read books and magazines, games, take and view photos. Very versatile, safe, and will provide hours of fun and learning for children.Ver másVer menos

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Disney fans, but buy an SD card immediately!

  I bought the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids (Disney Princess Edition) for my 5-year-old, and overall, it’s a fantastic device that keeps her entertained and learning. We love the design and the content, but there is one major flaw you need to be aware of.The Pros:The Content is Amazing: The included 1-year Amazon Kids+ subscription is a lifesaver. Being the Disney Princess edition, the case is adorable (and super sturdy!), and my daughter loves the exclusive Disney themes and wallpapers.Parental Controls: Amazon’s dashboard is still the best in the business. I can easily set time limits, educational goals, and filter content by age without needing to hold the device myself.Screen & Battery: The 8" HD screen is noticeably brighter and clearer than the older models, making movies look great. The 13-hour battery life is also legit—we survived a long road trip without needing a charger.The Major Flaw (Why I took off 1 star):32GB is NOT enough storage: This is the big downside. Out of the box, a huge chunk of that 32GB is already taken up by the system software. Once you download a few Disney movies for offline viewing and a handful of games, you get the "Storage Full" warning constantly. You must buy a microSD card if you plan to use this for travel or offline play.Verdict: If you grab this tablet, just add a microSD card to your cart at the same time.
