Perfect for post-op, note it is low to ground
Patient needed to be face down 90% of the time and this cot saved the day. It is ready to use out of the box. Open it up and attach the pillows and add the pad. We added a few towels to make the arms and face more comfortable in the "tanning holes" and the patient was able to use it for hours at a time. While using it, one can watch a video on a tablet or read a book, etc.We tried several other assistive devices, but the patient did not like them. Do note that it is low to the floor (just under 12 inches) like a typical tanning lounge chair. Compared to other similar items, I would say that this one is more stable, as there are support legs at both ends. However, a person with limited mobility may have trouble getting up and down from this. So far it has been over a week and will be needed for another month or so.
