  Removeable outside flap is a game changer. Better than everything else I tried.

  This is an excellent case, I ordered a few major brands to compare them all so I could get the exact one that I wanted and this fit the bill. The best part is the detachable exterior flap. You might think that this is going to get in the way or become cumbersome to use, it's not, when it's attached you can't tell that it isn't a one piece case. The protection is pretty good, I'm hard on things and I feel confident that this will adequately protect my iPad in most cases while also keeping the minimalist style and feel of the iPad Pro. The angles that you can achieve with the foldable exterior are on point. I like the fact that you can remove the outside and create portrait or landscape viewing angles. Sometimes I don't want all the extra flaps and covers while I'm just sitting around on the couch and taking it off is as easy as just pulling them apart, then all you have is a sleek exterior case. What's nice too is that it keeps a flush fit whether you have the Apple Pencil installed or not, another sleek function too.Ver másVer menos

  Very nice case giving vertical orientaion support.

  I purchased this because I wanted a case that would accommodate the vertical orientation but still be very slim. It does both those things. In the past, I have had the slimmest, plainest folio cases. This case is made up of an inner, back case that attaches directly to the iPad and an outer folio type case. The inner case attaches to the outer case by magnetism. When you want the vertical orientation, you just pull the inside case loose from the folio, turn it, and let the magnet re-attach, and voila! All those magnets do make this case rather heavy, compared to the plain folio cases. This is a good quality item too, and I think it will outlast the plain folios I have had. I bought the white one and it does, as promised, seem to repel, or at least not pick up, dirt. If you can deal with the extra weight, it's a really great case.Ver másVer menos

  Durable, Secure Case With Smart Detachable Design

  This iPad Pro case was very easy to install and fits my setup perfectly, including the Apple Pencil, which slots in nicely and stays secure. The build quality feels solid and durable, and the secure closure gives me confidence that everything stays protected when I’m carrying it around.I also really like the design feature that lets the main case detach from the back, which adds a lot of flexibility for different uses. The magnetic flap is strong and holds firmly in place when folded back, which is a nice touch.The only real downside is that the material tends to show dirt and fingerprints quite easily, and it is not the easiest to clean.   Beautiful and Functional!

  This is by far one of the best cases I’ve owned for an iPad before! I sometimes prefer to use the iPad without the folio for scrolling, and other times, I want to be able to stand it up, and this case gives me that versatility. The magnets work very well, and it never falls down when in standing mode. I also love the Apple Pencil holder, because there’s a thin layer of TPU that lets me use or not use my Apple Pencil and keep it connected.If there’s a slight downside to the case, it’s that it’s a bit hefty when put together, but then again, the iPad Pro 13” isn’t exactly small either, and I always have the choice to remove the inner part of the case from the folio if I’m really craving that lightness and slimness. I’d absolutely recommend this product and would buy it again in a heartbeat! Great value for money too.Ver másVer menos

  Great case & cover - only one thing would make it perfect!

  If I could do 1/2 stars, this would be 4.5. It's a really great folio. The best part is that the iPad fits into a snap-on protective case that never has to come off (thus always protecting the device), with the folio case magnetically attaching around it for protection (or propping up) when needed. So when in transit or you need to have the iPad propped up, keep the case on, but when you're sitting and reading or playing a game, you can remove the folio and not have it flopping around. The second great feature is the little flap that secures the magnetically attached pencil. Truly masterful.So why not Five stars? Well, the killer feature for me would be compatibility with its sister product (which I also bought), the Rebound Keyboard case (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C246MHXK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). Why? Sometimes, I travel with my iPad as a secondary device alongside my work laptop. Something to watch movies on the plane or play games on. But other times, I travel with my iPad as the primary device - to do emails, take notes, etc. This folio sleeve is perfect for the first type of travel, while the keyboard case is perfect for the other type of travel. My hope was that the snap-on protective case would be compatible across the two, but alas, they are not. The magnets simply do not align, which means when I want to switch use-cases, i have to fully remove the iPad from one snap-on protective case to the other.If you just need one of the above use-cases, I couldn't recommend either of these more. For me, wanting to regularly switch between them, I wish they had made the two products - both in the Rebound line - compatible.UPDATE to 5-star: After writing ESR customer service to ask if my dual use-case, and frustration with having to switch out the protective case, they offered me a partial refund. That's incredible attention to customer feedback. Who knows if they'll ever take my feedback into account for some future offering (I can only hope), but for now, they acknowledged that the current products don't meet my desired outcomes and gave me some money back for my troubles.Ver másVer menos

  Protective, Grippy, and High Quality

  Hello,I’ve been using this case for about 3 days now and really like it! It feels very durable, (though time will tell) I love the magnetic folio piece and the fact that my iPad is still protected even with that cover off at any time, and I really like the Apple Pencil charging and still stored where Apple intended it to be, but with the added flap to hold it securely. I’ve attached a bunch of photos and a video to help show you what this case has to offer and I hope they help you! The buttons are all very easy and satisfying and they have a good firm clicking sound I like still. The inner part of the folio isn’t that soft actually as I thought it would be, but I think that it is better this way with the rubber feeling texture instead as I think it should be easier to clean with a damp clothe if needed. I love the grippiness that the case gives when I’m holding my iPad, especially when I don’t have the folio on and I am drawing or playing games. It helps me be more comfy holding my iPad and not worrying about dropping and breaking it as much. The cutouts for the speakers, microphones, and charging port are very good and I like that the charging port cutout is a bit bigger to ensure any adapter can fit in. I like that this case is relatively thin for having two pieces, but the iPad and case with the folio on does make it all pretty heavy. Without the folio it’s not as heavy though! The vertical standing position is cool, but for how huge and heavy my iPad is, i don’t fully trust the stand and it just seems like it could tip over backwards too easily.I would highly recommend this case for the design, the high quality, and the features.Sincerely,Leah Dykema - ESR customer since 2017Ver másVer menos
