This watch takes a licking & keeps ticking

This is my 2nd Casio duro. My 1st one is 9 years old & cost me $40 in 2017 & this pepsi version is still worth $75. ive beat the crap out of my 1st duro - it has a big gouge in the crystal & other battle scars & the bezel is a bit harder to rotate but as long as it has a fresh battery if still keeps perfect time & is still water resistant. This one i want to keep nice bc its just so pretty if it was a girl id be kissing it :p you just cannot beat this watch!Ver másVer menos

  Join the casio fan boys

Bought this for my father in law. I have one as well. They are good looking dive watches from reputable company. Casio is tried and true. Its excellent value for money. Easy to read.

  Nice watch for the money.

I ordered the MDV106 with the stainless bracelet after returning a digital Casio that just didn't work for me. The LED light was dim and I didn't care for the resin band. I think the MDV106 is a very nice watch for the price. IMO it at this price point it would be a 5 star watch date was easier to read though it may be ok for younger eyes. I would give it a 4.5. The lume is bright and attractive but does seem to dim quicker than I would like. The bracelet seems very nice for the price. If you choose a one of the models with a stainless bracelet, I would suggest getting a watch repair kit if you don't have one. You will likely need to remove links to get a good fit. It's not very difficult with the proper tools. I ordered this along with the watch: EasyTime Watch Repair Kit 149IN1. A short Youtube tutorial on adjusting Casio metal bracelets will be very helpful unless you have adjusted a Casio stainless bracelet before. The technique is quite different than on my other stainless bracelets.Note: The model I ordered stated the band was resin at the top of the page but the photo and the details indicated it had the stainless bracelet and it did.I've only had the watch a few days and I'll update the if warranted.Ver másVer menos
