These are a great value they sound better than my KZ ZS10 Pro's

Ok so I use IEM's for a multitude of scenarios. First and foremost as a musician secondly as a content creator when live streaming and gaming and thirdly just to listen to music. I find IEMs to be far more comfortable than earbuds and also headphones as well. Granted you loose a lot of the "soundstage" vs headphones I find they are more immersive during gameplay and just downright more comfortable than a hot bulky headset.Ok so now with the background out of the way I already own the KZ ZS10 Pro IEM's these are what I generally use so I compared these KZ castors against them. First let me say the ZS10 Pro's are double the cost of these but only have 1DD vs the Castor's 2 Dynamic Drivers. My ZS10 Pro's cord is also a much flimsier smaller gauge wire than what these come with. The Castors outside shell also looks really nice compared to my ZS10 Pro's that quite frankly look unfinished to me.Now with the build out of the way on to the sound. For some reason I'm not sure why these are such a value as frankly after hours of listening to both the Castor and the ZS10 Pro's I actually preferred the Castors. This was using the Harman curve setting without any of the boosts. Once I played around with the boosts they easily sounded better than my ZS10's. Plus the boosts give you versatility that my ZS10's don't have. Yeah I could use equalization or preprocessing but not if I'm just grooving with my phone (although there is probably an app for that). For music, gaming, creation, and playing I felt the Castors were far superior which again puzzles me at the extreme value they are offered for. The bass sounded better, the midrange sounded better, and even the highs were better. I even noticed with my ZS10's there were parts of songs that were lost in the mix for instance drum cymbals that I didn't realize were there till I put in the Castors.All in all I would say the value of these IEM's is insanely good for what they are. Overall they do a good job reproducing sound, they are comfortable, built well, and out perform IEMS that are double the cost. If you are looking to try IEM's I would without question recommend these as the best budget pair IMO and I feel bad calling them that because they are so much more and it really doesn't do them justice to be classified as such.Ver más
