I love this thing!
The online video reviews are correct; you get a LOT for your money with this modeler/processor/pedal. I mean, you'll obviously get more with most processor units that would cost you several hundred dollars, but this thing punches above its weight. The presets sound good and give you a wide range of styles and sounds. Yet it's also easy to edit them. I have other units that have deep LCD menus (and/or phone apps) that you have to navigate to tweak or edit your sound. This one is is all knobs, and it makes this thing a breeze. (You can also edit and configure through a phone app.)Construction is super-solid. TANK-G is well named. Size-wise it's convenient to throw it in your gig bag or backpack and take it with you. As a matter of fact, between the solid effects, amp and IR cabs, its heavy duty aluminum construction, its small size, and its intuitive stomp button navigation, there is only one aspect that I believe may keep you from gigging it.When you switch between presets, there is a slight drop of signal, just for a brief, brief moment. It's probably not enough to affect the performance, especially in a band situation where the rest of the music may cover it. It's not really that big of a deal; you just need to know about it. Also, there is an app that allows firmware updates, so they may even fix this with a future update.Speaking of the app. You can use it to import presets and IR Cab files. Even without the app, you can connect your phone/tablet/computer via bluetooth and play backing tracks through it as you play.Buy it. I believe it's the best bang for your buck in this arena.Ver másVer menos
