Focal ES 165 K2E - K2 EVO 6.5" 2-Way Component Speaker Kit - Pair

Boasting a maximum power of 200W and a nominal power of 100W RMS, with a sensitivity of 93dB, the ES 165 K2E system ensures a broad frequency response from 60Hz to 22kHz. The 2Ω impedance, along with features like a 1.25" voice coil diameter and TMD surround, contribute to the kit's outstanding performance. The aramid fiber cone, a result of Focal's unique expertise, incorporates an ultralight foam core sandwiched between layers of aramid fiber and fiberglass. This combination of rigidity, lightness, and damping ensures precise and dynamic sound reproduction, pushing the boundaries of acoustic excellence. The kit offers versatile installation possibilities for the tweeters, allowing mounting in the factory location, flush-fitted, or on angled brackets. The inclusion of aluminum grilles ensures a sleek and protective finish, adapting to various car interiors. Equipped with TKME tweeters with an ‘M’-shaped inverted dome also made of aramid fiber, this system is coupled with bi-amplifiable audiophile crossovers for optimal control of high frequencies. The result is a smooth and precisely defined treble, bringing hi-fi sound quality on board. The Focal ES 165 K2E system features two 6 1/2” woofers with a K2 sandwich cone, made of aramid fiber, delivering a powerful and dynamic sound. The high sensitivity ensures an enveloping audio experience, enhancing your in-car listening to new heights.
