Wonderful Substitute for Shower Water Filtration
Absolutely love this water filter for my showers. I rent and cannot have a water softner system or filtration system. My teen girls and myself notice a significant improvement in the dryness and texture of our hair and skin with this filter. You want to replace every six months as insructed or youll notice the water reverting back to the hard water it was before installing. It was very simple to install myself and I am challanged when it comes to putting things together. Also the price is similar or slightly cheaper than purchasing at your local Lowes or Home Depot.Ver másVer menos

Fantastic filter!
I buy these every few months and they never disappoint. I live in an area where there's a lot of hard water. I can instantly feel the difference when I replace the filter - my hair is softer and I'm not as itchy and dry. Works great and hard to find, so I'm happy they're available on Amazon!Ver másVer menos

Perfect for apartment hard water issues
After trying out several small water filters for my apartment shower, I found this one to be the best for the job ..It does the work I need , and lasts about 5 months before I notice the harsh water feel come back... For me , it's anImmediate difference on my hair and skin. Less frizzy hair and a bit softer skin...Only 4 stars because , it's a little pricey for the actual size of the filter.I've purchased two of them and I will buy again when the time comes !Ver másVer menos

The best option IMO
There is plumbing within the house that is used infrequently, and the water in those pipes need the low level chlorine that city water has. Also, homes with 'risers', which counter water hammer, are susceptible to bacteria growing if the water is not chlorinated. But chlorine drys the skin and I don't want to shower in it.This filter takes much of the chlorine out at the shower head. PERFECT. So I have a whole house water softener which takes out the minerals like calcium and magnesium, and a filter at the shower head for Cl.Ver másVer menos
