Best helmet under $300. My new favorite
At last, a helmet that I just love wearing! With a 58.5cm head, size Large is a perfect match for me. This helmet is simply amazing; the material quality far exceeds its price point. The comfort and interior design are comparable to my $325 challenger gt helmet. Plus, the removable pads can easily go in the washing machine, and the moisture-wicking interior keeps me dry, while air vents on the front and back ensure great airflow inside. I've been searching for a low-profile full-face helmet that provides safety and looks fantastic while cruising around town in a tank top. I can't stand heavy bobblehead helmets that come in one shell size for small to XXL. The LS2 Stream 2, however, offers three shell sizes, ensuring that you get the perfect fit for your body type without looking oversized. Fit is crucial when selecting a helmet, so remember to measure your head multiple times and carefully consider the size you need. For me, at 58.5cm, the Large size fits absolutely flawlessly. You know you've got the right fit when you can put the helmet on and pretend to chew gum without discomfort. If your molars touch your cheeks, then it's a good fit. The cheek pads will naturally mold to your face over time and can loosen up by up to 20%, so a snug fit is essential, but there should be no pressure or hot spots after wearing it for 15 minutes. The helmet comes with a thick 3mm face shield that is crystal clear and very sturdy. The built-in drop-down sun visor is fantastic; I used to wear sunglasses every time, but now I simply flip down the visor and close the shield.Ver másVer menos
