I will only wear this watch from now on!!
I Love this watch! What is a watch without a face and hands?! I did not want a shining computer screen or a black empty box on my wrist. I did want to be able to track my exercise, heart rate, steps, sleep, girl cycle, receive texts, and tell time without looks at a screen. This watch has modern conveniences with old school class in a modern style. The battery life is l-o-n-g. I haven’t charged in over 48hrs and have tracked my sleep, exercises, took two ecg’s, received so many texts and my battery is at 87%! Couldn’t be happier with this watch it’s my favorite accessory!Ver másVer menos

This watch is beautiful!
I purchased this watch to ‘replace’ (but really join) the simpler version. My first one did not calculate my oxygen saturation or do ECG. I was VERY pleasantly surprised at the actual beauty of the watch itself (I purchased the rose gold version). I’m really loving the color. As for the functions included with this version, it is much more detailed. The heart rate function is the one I use the most as I have a heart condition that this watch helps me keep an eye on. I have to work with my cardiologist to get the ECG function up and working. As for the oxygen saturation reader it takes some getting used to. I have finally gotten to where I can actually get a reading instead of getting “INCONCLUSIVE”! It was a bit frustrating at first but I get that message far less now. This watch has replaced my Apple Watch as this one seems to be more what I need to keep track of my health. It will give notifications for low heart rate & high heart rate and I’m sure other functions send notifications as well. I just haven’t needed other ones at this point. One thing I have noticed with this edition is that when you go into the functions to check things, the hands literally move to the 10:10 position so they do not block the readout screen. I did have difficulty seeing ‘through’ the hands on the other watch. As soon as you exit the functions the hands go back to the current time. This only happens if the time of day is at a time when the hands are obstructing the functions screen. All in all I’m VERY GLAD that I purchased this watch!Ver másVer menos

Almost Perfect
I was super happy with this watch while it lasted.Having AFib and asthma, and needing to lose some weight, I want something to monitor my key heart health stats during work outs. As a health monitoring instrument, nothing outside of a doctor’s office beats the ScanWatch 2. The Apple Watch comes close (at more than twice the price) but it does not measure blood oxygen as this watch can.I researched a lot of devices and this has everything I needed. It measures pulse and heart rhythm plus SpO2. It detects irregular heart rhythms and irregular respiration during sleep. It has step counting, workout monitoring, gps tracking, and easy compatibility with iPhones. Plus the battery lasts for two weeks or more. All of that in a sleek watch face is a modern miracle. It also offers some smartwatch features that I didn’t use like notifications of phone calls and texts. The app that accompanies this watch is essential and quite well configured.I wish that Withings would drop the analog watch face and offer this with a full face digital screen. As it is, the digital screen is a tiny inset at the top of the face that is difficult to read. At the bottom of the face is another small inset “activity dial” which shows progress toward a daily goal; a less important feature in my view. So, setting aside some minor complaints, I praise theScanWatch2 as one of those rarities that does its job well and looks decent at the same time. It was great while it lasted.Unfortunately it lasted only about a year. All of the functionality is controlled by the single stem on the side of the watch, which is sensitive to pressure. Since I wore the watch on my left wrist, bending my wrist through daily activities tended to inadvertently depress the stem and over time it failed to depress any more. That’s when I found out that Withings offers no repair support, and really no support of any kind for their devices. I sent the watch to a repair specialist but the quote exceeded the original purchase price. So my warning is that this watch is somewhat delicate, and when it fails there will be no help from Withings. Knowing that, I will probably not buy this watch again, which is a shame because I really liked it.Ver másVer menos

Beautiful but engineering is a failure.
Its beautiful. But that is not enough. Let down by stupid design and terrible software. First design. Periodically, the watch loses time overnight. As much as 17 minutes, which of course is a problem if you have a schedule to keep in the morning. Withings says it’s because the watch reboots when the crown is pressed by my wrist. But I am left handed, so pressing the crown with my right wrist is impossible! But irrespective of that, the prime function of a watch is to keep accurate time. This one fails at that. Then we come to the Withings app. An integral part of using this watch. And it is so full of bugs that it is unusable. All I can think is that Withings needs to fire the lead software developer and start again. Nothing should be this bad.Ver másVer menos

I'm disappointed with the accuracy
69 yo active female. Walk 3 miles daily and lift weights 5 days a week. This is my second Withings watch. I had the Withings1 for 3 years and it started to lose battery too quickly so I elected to upgrade. I like the watch because it has aesthetic appeal - it doesn't look like a computer on your wrist. After almost 5 months these are my observations on the Withings2 smart watch;* battery is reduced to 35% after about 10 days. It won't make it 35 days for sure* rarely does it sync with the healthmate app on it's own when the watch and my phone are right next to each other with full internet capability. I've waited a full day for it to sync on it's own to no avail. I have to go to settings to 'encourage' it to sync. That seems to 'wake it up'.* 2 miles into my daily 'brisk' walk it showed a pulse rate drop at 36bpm for almost a minute. I don't recall passing out nor did I get a low heart rate alert.* step count is more accurate than with the Withings1 - the first watch frequently doubled my steps at some random point during the walk.* Often the app will not stop a selected workout activity even though I've stopped the activity and manually stopped the watch. The activity is subsequently deleted due to the inaccuracy which inherently provides an inaccurate health report should you elect to do that* sleeping fully through the night, it comes up with 3 interruptions - gremlins maybe?* having a cold and waking frequently during the night, the app gives me a score of 85 with no interruptions. I think the watch was in a deep REM stage.* hrv (heart rate variability) during the night is a new addition that I find completely useless. One day it's a 7 and the next it's over 30 with no change in sleep pattern between the 2 days.I didn't have all these issues with the first watch. I have already tried all the tricks suggested by Withings. I reboot the watch and uninstall and reinstall the app on a weekly basis. This seems to work for a few days of better accuracy. There are many other features available that I choose not to use, predominantly because they are all an extra and I find pricey subscription. Why would anyone bother when the base features aren't accurate. I don't expect 100% accuracy but certainly something more reliable is desired. I'll be looking for an alternative with my next smart watch purchase.

Better than I expected!
I have been searching for an android compatible smart watch for months. I really like this one. It was easy to set up and easy to use. The only drawback is that the device is constantly reminding me to tighten the watch strap. I don’t like wearing my watch tight on my wrist. The reminders are kind of annoying. Other than that, this is a great smart watch. It’s durable!Ver másVer menos
