Good case for exactly what it is designed for. Just don't expect it to be something it isn't.
Fits my new Boox Color 7 gen II nicely, and has the rotation option I prefer along with a loop that holds most regular sized styluses I've tested securely so about perfect for me. The purple was darker than the pictures showed, but I knew that from other reviews before buying it. It is slightly thicker than I would prefer, but no worse than other tablet/ereader covers of similar size I've used and mostly feels bulky because of the small size of the Boox Go. The ridges to keep the tablet part of the case are thick glue/rubber instead of indents like on many larger model cases I've tested, but for the light weight of the thing overall they are more than adequate. Maybe not as premium a feel, but usable and stable if used correctly which is what I care most about. Basically, exactly what I expected, so five stars for that, though I'd actually rate it at 4.5 just because I have some concerns about the glue/rubber skids maybe not lasting the life of the case. But it's held up well for the past few weeks, so we'll see.If you are like me and regularly end up flipping between landscape and portrait modes while reading different types of materials and need to keep the screen in a more or less vertical position on a table top, this is an excellent case to have. However, if you do more handheld reading you will probably be happier with a less bulky style with more corner coverage. This case offers decent protection for most types of abuse table top users are most likely to encounter, but it is not intended for hand held reading and expecting that kind of coverage is just going to disappoint. And a word of advice to all the people I see complaining about this, if are unfamiliar with this type of table top rotation case and are used to hand held flip cover cases or origami fold stands, DO NOT fold the cover flat behind the case like you would with those types! This will destroy the the stiffness needed to hold the reader up and you will destroy the whole reason for ordering a case of this style. Also, if you are buying this for the latest Boox Go models, remember that it was designed for the older ones. Yes, it is close enough in size that it will work well for most use cases, BUT the newer models are sized slightly differently than the ones the original case was designed for. Namely, they are a few mm thicker. This means that you will not be able to fit an extra cover underneath to protect the corners like you may be able to for older/smaller models like the Leaf. This also means that the holes for the speakers do not quite line up and that unless you seat the screen securely in exactly the right place, using side gestures may be a bit tricky. But if you are like me and prefer to use headphones and the buttons or screen icons or the naviball or literally any of the other options Boox offers to navigate their software then you will be fine.Ver másVer menos
