UPDATE: After my 2 week trip traveling through Italy with carry-on only, my updated review is still a 5 star review but here's some feedback after using for an extended trip over the pond.PROS:*Comfortable to carry with padded back and shoulder straps.*40L is a great size but is on the larger side. Wish this exact bag (color wise: Grey Green-black) came in smaller 30L.*Lots of pockets for great organization*Comes with 3 additional bags to organize your belongings that you can't place in pockets. The 8x10" worked great for travel essentials.*Attaches to luggage with handy strap on back. Made it easy to pull my luggage through airports and hotels.*Main compartment opens at an 180 degree angle which makes packing SO easy!*The fabric seems really durable. Not a smudge on the backpack and traveled on planes, trains and automobiles. Italy was wet and raining too!CONS:*If you plan to use this as a "personal carry on" piece, it is larger than most airline specs so if the bag is full, this backpack might get flagged. I got a lot of glances from airline staff but thankfully got it through.*I may have gotten it through but it does not fit under the seat unless 1/2 full. This was especially problematic when coming home and was loaded with souvenirs. It did not fit under my seat and BARELY fit overhead on an Airbus A330-300 (Air Canada) or AIRBUS A350-900 (Lufthansa). If the airline was completely full, I honestly don't think they would've let me bring my carry on luggage as well as this larger sized backpack.*the drink sleeve on the outside of the bag is small so I could not fit my light weight travel 24oz Owala water bottle when on the backpack is on the fuller size. Works well though when backpack is 1/2 full.Overall, this size worked amazingly for my 2 week trip to Europe but would think twice about bringing it again if I plan to doing carry on luggage and this as a personal carry on during high season. I'm fairly confident this would not be allowed when packed at full capacity, which is easy to do. I think this size would work beautifully for a long weekend.***************I'm already in love with this bag. I’m heading on a two-week trip to Italy with carry-on luggage only, and I quickly realized my go-to tote wasn’t going to cut it. After searching high and low, this ended up being the best option for my needs. This 40L bag has tons of internal pockets to keep everything organized, and if that’s not enough, it also comes with a shoe bag and two accessory pouches; perfect for storing essentials during long-haul flights. The main compartment has plenty of room for a jacket, a few days worth of clothing, and a pair of shoes without feeling overly stuffed. I’ve used it once so far for a quick weekend trip, and my only complaint is that I wish the two larger compartments had double zippers. Currently, only the main one has that feature. The double zipper would allow for anti-theft clips to help slow down or prevent access to the outer pockets in crowded areas.. I don’t plan to store valuables there, but it would’ve been nice to have the option. Overall, this is a great bag for the price. The material feels very durable and well-made. One thing worth noting: I ordered both the blue/black and green/black versions to compare. I assumed both were the same but different color ways. However, the blue/black had more of a high-end canvas feel, while the green/black was more of a nylon material. Both were nice, but I ultimately preferred the green/black colorway and fabric.Ver másVer menos
