Replaced fluorescent bulbs
I had fluorescent bulb fixtures on top of my kitchen cabinets. You could see them. And they were an eyesore to me. Use this to power up an LED light strip that I installed in the inside of the top molding. From ground level you can't see any light fixture anymore. Especially not an ugly fluorescent bulb fixture. And the light that is produced from the LED light strip is much brighter and more dramatic. So clean, looking and and makes people wonder where the lights coming from. This was a great find and I definitely recommend it. I'm buying two more.Ver másVer menos
The Way I See It
Good power supply, but can be finicky about LEDs and dimmer switches.
As a strait-up 24 Volt DC power supply, without dimming, it worked great for me. For dimming I was able to make it work well after a bit of trial and error.The instructions state a few dimmer switches that it will work with. I also had success with a dimmer that was not on the list, a cheap plug-in, in-line dimmer. I found that it doesn't work well with LED lights that have a driver in them as well. Worked well with strip light LEDs however.There is a significant delay between turning on the switch and the lights coming on; up to nearly 3-seconds.If for some reason, a dimmer must be used on the 120-volt supply line instead of the low voltage LED power line, then this power supply can be a good solution. however I feel that dimming the low voltage line with a PWM type dimmer is preferred for faster response and broader dimming control.It's a good solution if it's your only choice.Ver másVer menos

Power To The People--And All Their Lights
This massive driver is well built from quality material. It is capable of powering a huge amount of your lighting needs without a struggle. It performs dimming without humming or flickering. The seller provides the knock out plug wire clamps. The input/output wire connections are separated which is a great feature. This is a strudy and hearty massive driver. The seller also provides secure, fast and easy connection plugs on the input electrical wires. There are easy to follow and understand instructions included. The item is as described by the seller. Comes with nothing but the bare bones.
Power supply works would be about all I can say lol. Doesn't even come with a wiring diagram so if you don't know how to wire basic DC you better find out. I use it to power a little 2 channel bluetooth audio receiver. Power it gives is good, and the little home sound system doesn't sound little at all. Gives my amp full necessary voltage when it's called for. Guess that's all I can ask.Ver másVer menos

Works well but has close to a 1-second delay from switch.
This LED driver works well. It is quiet and doesn't heat up appreciably. Measured output 24.2VThe only potential issues are that there is approximately a 1-second delay between switching power to the unit and power outgoing to the LED which can be annoying. 288 watts to low voltage your way to a pretty nice setup.
This is a hefty power supply, and you're gonna get a lot powered up with it. It's a class P driver, so I don't have to worry about short circuiting the thing or overcurrents and can just feel comfortable it's reliable enough to keep me from having to worry about whatever I've got going through it. I quick-wired some residential 24v strips that were occupying a bunch of outlets, and just freed those up. It's got plenty of wattage capability, so I can mount it securely on the wall. There's plenty of cutouts with the occompanying hardware to get you setup. This is a great driver that leaves you with plenty of options for lighting. I like option.
