8 Blade Drum Fan w/Wheels
It's loud. It sounds like a swarm of bees rather than the low hum of a typical larger fan. You won't be using this in the bedroom unless it's really hot but it moves a lot of air at 9500cfm (on high). That's pretty dang powerful. It's surprisingly thin. Only about 4 inches thick, I don't know why I was expecting more of a "drum" to this drum fan. I would be interested if the 8 narrow blades are better than having 3 or 4 wide blades, and why. I'm not sure if it was worth the $100 I paid yet. Time will tell. The directions are a little confusing but I got it together. I accidentally have the wheels on the same side as the handle. Oops. Not a big enough deal to take the time to switch it as I don't plan to move it around all that much ... and it's not even heavy. Box says it's under 12lbs. so I'm not even sure why the manufacturer felt it needed wheels at all. So you could skip them all together if you wanted. But if wheeling this around is important to you, pay attention where you mount the wheels so the handle is on top when you tip it back. Also it matters which c-shaped post goes on which mount so if the screws aren't lining up, switched them. There's some random small holes in the c-shaped posts for some unknown screws... Who knows. Perhaps to mount it to something?Ver másVer menos
