Fascinating but more academic than cinematic.

A fascinating read. But this purchase is best reserved for Tolkien fans whose taste bends to the academic investigation of the author's process.

Tolkien! More offcuts from the legendarium!

Worth buying if only to get the dozen plus pages of the sequel to The Lord Of The Rings that Tolkien started to write but then abandoned. Set some hundred years or so after the death of Aragorn. Is trouble stirring anew in Gondor?
