Love this
I have medium curly hair that is prone to frizz. I can take my hair from wet to straight with just this one device which is a miracle for me. I’ve always had to flat iron my hair after blow drying even with a blowdryer brush. Not with this though. It’s great!

Should have read reviews
I was thrilled to see a dryer/straightener all in one but it was horrible. I didn't care for the fact that the dryer goes off when released but probably could have gotten used to that. However it was way too heavy/bulky for me. If Revlon comes out with a smaller less heavy version I would probably give it a try but only after reading reviews.Ver másVer menos

I Love It. Blows out my roots
This not a Dyson dupe, but it is a wonderful upgrade or companion in the Revlon one step line. I already have the one step paddle brush, so I am comparing the airstraight to that. I have coarse, super curly dense hair. Some might call it 4c. What I like about the Airstraight is that it requires a medium section of hair to provide the correct amount of tension for drying. Does this making my drying time faster? No, I have super thick hair. Even at the salon it takes my stylist an hour to round brush my hair. But it does make it easier to blow dry. The benefit of this that it gets close to the roots, which is key to a great blow out. With Revlon paddle I am not able to get my roots very well. Plus i can blow dry in whatever direction I want and get stellar results. I have not used the heat option. I only used it as a blow dryer. I took one star off because if I am going to use the heat option, I would like to know how high the heat is. Because there is no temp gauge I am taking a star off. As a blow dryer though I think it is phenomenal and it is really easy to use. I never had to waste time turning it off, because it has an autopause feature. Since it has teeth you do need to make sure your hair is detangled. DONT COMB YOUR HAIR WITH THIS DRYER. As you blow dry if you hit resistance, stop, detangle, and then continue. It's a little bit of work, but for the price, it is worth it. The blow dry is just as good as when I am in the salon.Ver másVer menos

Own a One Step Styler? ... Skip this tool
Having owned a one step Styler ever since the original one was released, I was excited to see the Air strait "sibling" tool and ordered after watching a YouTube review by Milabu. Her results were very different than mine. Please note, 1) My hair is fine and 2) N1 color treated, and 3) slightly frizzy from damage. My hair reacted much as if I had used a gun style blow dryer without a round brush. When I use the One Step, there is more "pull" while I style causing the awesome salon blow out results I love. The new airstrait doesn't "pull" at all, just blows warm air. If you have thick hair and more curl or kink, you might get different results. I was hoping to reduce the number of air styling tools I need to pack on an upcoming trip to Asia with this, but this isn't the magic wand I was hoping it would be. I'll still need my old school flat iron.Ver másVer menos
