Excellent Comfort, Clear Audio, and a Great Mic
I've been using the HyperX Cloud III wired headset for a while now, and it's been an excellent upgrade. The sound quality is clear and well-balanced, making it easy to hear footsteps, dialogue, and other in-game details without overwhelming bass. It also works great for music and watching videos.The comfort is one of the biggest highlights. The memory foam ear cushions and padded headband make it easy to wear for long gaming sessions without discomfort. The build quality feels solid, and the headset doesn't feel cheap or flimsy.The microphone is another strong point. My teammates immediately noticed that my voice sounded much clearer compared to my previous headset. The detachable mic is convenient, and the noise reduction does a good job of minimizing background sounds.Setup was simple—just plug it in and start using it. It has worked flawlessly with my PC and console, and I haven't experienced any connection or audio issues.Overall, the HyperX Cloud III offers excellent value for the price. I have been using Hyper X products for many years and I absolutely love their sound quality. They focus on a great products with fair pricing.This Cloud 3 is so comfortable to wear for long periods of time.I even use this for my job to take calls in. The quality of the mic, and the overall quality of the audio coming through the speakers is just 10/10.With other head sets I worry about getting the top of the head dip from wearing them for too long, and this headset helps keep that from happening with this super soft padding. It doesn't press against your head too tight.The noise cancellation is great. You can simply get swept up and away with whatever you're listening to.I have done a lot of music, gaming and actual work with it and definitely will replace them with another pair if these give out.The plug gives you tons of options. Headphone jack, USB C and classic USB, so you can use it in any way you're in need.Love this product and will continue to sing Hyper X praises.Ver másVer menos

Comfortable, Great Sound, and Worth the Price
For the price, this is a really solid headset. It’s not a premium, top-of-the-line gaming headset, but it doesn’t claim to be. If you’re looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly option with good sound quality, this is a great choice.It comes with multiple connection options (USB-C, USB-A, and 3.5mm), making it easy to use across different devices. Setup was straightforward, and I had no issues getting it connected.One feature I really appreciated was the microphone mute button. When you mute the mic, a small red LED lights up on the microphone that’s visible in your peripheral vision. It seems like a simple feature, but it’s incredibly useful because you always know whether you’re muted or live without having to guess.The headset is comfortable enough to wear for extended gaming sessions, and the audio quality is better than I expected at this price point. If you’re chasing the absolute best competitive gaming headset on the market, this probably isn’t it. Good value, low cost comfort, mid-range audio and mic quality.
Good value for the price. I purchased two of these..:: Raw Scores (not taking cost into consideration) ::.Microphone: (4/10) - Acceptable, but not great.Audio quality: (4/10) - Acceptable, but not great.Weight: (9/10) - Very lightweight, great.Comfort: (7/10) - Good. Wearable for 2-3 hours at a time without discomfort. Not great for longer periods. Thick/warm ear padding. Has a moderate-light clamping pressure and clamp padding is good.Spatial audio: (4/10) - Works but not good for any serious gaming advantage.Overall review: I think this headset earns 4 stars taking price into consideration. It functions perfectly and comfortably enough to use for a budget-friendly gaming headset. However, do not expect high quality hardware in this price range or you will be disappointed. It will not compete nor come close to $150+ headsets in quality but it's comfortable at a lower price range, which is very important if you're on a budget.Ver másVer menos

Best headset I’ve owned – pure comfort and clear audio for every platform
I’ve been using the HyperX Cloud III for a couple of weeks across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X, and it’s easily the most comfortable gaming headset I’ve ever worn. The memory foam ear cushions and headband are seriously plush—no clamping, no hot spots, even after 4–6 hour sessions. It feels light and stays secure without any pressure.The angled 53mm drivers deliver clean, detailed sound that’s great for games. Footsteps, directionality, and explosions all come through clearly, and with DTS Headphone:X on PC via the USB connection the spatial audio is solid. Music and movies sound balanced too. The upgraded 10mm mic is a big step up—teammates keep saying I sound crisp and clear, and the built-in mesh filter + LED mute indicator are nice touches. On-ear volume and mute controls are convenient so I don’t have to dig through menus.Build quality feels premium with the aluminum frame, and the included cables (3.5mm + USB-C/USB-A adapters) make it truly plug-and-play on basically everything. No wireless lag or battery anxiety, just reliable wired performance.If you want a durable, ultra-comfy multi-platform headset that prioritizes sound and mic quality over flashy RGB, this is the one. Love this Headset
I went through numerous headphones, multiple warranty replacements, and many different brands before coming across these headphones. About 3 years ago my headset went out and needed a set asap because I can’t stand playing without one. I shot over to Walmart 30 mins before they closed and settled on these Hyperx Cloud III’s. Once I got back home and put these headphones on, I knew immediately these were the ones. Really comfortable, crisp sound, and no one ever complained about the mic sounding like crap. Fast forward to now, and they’re still going strong. I’ve dropped them more than I can count, sat on them, accidentally yanked the cord out of the controller a few times a month, and still just like the day I bought them. We got my son a PC, so my wife took over his console and when she said she wanted some headphones, I didn’t even have to think twice about which ones. All 3 of us have a set, never been replaced or exchanged, and still like the day we bought them!!Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there are plenty of other headphones out there that make these look like trash, but for the price point & what you’re actually getting is well worth it.Ver másVer menos
