Runs large? No, runs huge!
I've just started buying these 100% poly shorts for pickleball recently. My first ones were the Gradual brand in size 2XL, so that's what I ordered in the Northyard brand. Wow! They are huge in that size. I have a 40" waist, but these could have easily fit someone at least six inches bigger! Reference the photo with my Gradual shorts on top of the Northyard ones, both in the 2XL size. The Northyard shorts extend two or three inches more on all sides! I returned those and sized down to the XL, which is a little more generous than the other brand, which is what I wanted. They look well made and the fabric seems fine. One little bonus over the Gradual brand is that there are no metal ends on the drawstring and the pocket zippers are neatly tucked under a flap that silences all that metal clanking when in the drier. I think I'll be happy with these as they don't restrict movement and look nice. They might even improve my dinks.Ver másVer menos
