Pretty good once it "settles in"
Good: Lightweight but sturdy. Easily readable display. Scale doesn't slip on a tile floor, feet don't slip on the platform. Accurate for a bathroom scale, eventually. (see below.)Bad: Platform flexes a little when loaded to less than half claimed capacity - disconcerting at first but doesn't appear unsafe. Auto-calibration apparently doesn't work as described (see below).Bottom line: I was taken aback the first time I stepped on this scale and discovered I'd apparently gained 5 pounds overnight. Loaded it with two 20 lb. dumbbells as a test, and saw 44.8 lbs. Was considering returning it but tried again the next morning. Per the scale I'd lost 2.5 lbs, as did the dumbbells. The following day I was back to my expected weight, and the free weights clocked in at 40.6 lbs. The product description makes the auto-calibration seem transparent - you step on the scale, it calibrates itself and gives you an accurate reading. The apparent reality is that it takes a few weighings for the calibration to do its thing. Which is fine, and this fact may be buried in the instructions somewhere, but if this is actually what it's doing the description and/or instructions should make that clear. Once settled in, however, it works fine and it really is accurate for a bathroom scale, certainly more so than my old one. I haven't tried the app (of COURSE it has an app, silly person,) and don't plan to, so can't comment on that. At any rate, I'm now happy with it. Five stars.Ver másVer menos
