he LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series X-Wing Starfighter 75355 is an outstanding set and an easy 5-star recommendation for any Star Wars fan or LEGO collector. This is exactly the kind of set that the UCS line is meant for: highly detailed, beautifully designed, and incredibly satisfying to display once complete. If you are a fan of the original trilogy, this one really delivers.The first thing that stands out is how iconic the finished model looks. LEGO did a fantastic job capturing the shape and presence of the X-Wing, and it is instantly recognizable from every angle. The proportions feel right, the detailing is impressive, and the overall presentation gives it that premium collector feel. Once built, it has a strong display presence and looks excellent in a home, office, or dedicated LEGO collection.The build itself is very enjoyable. It feels advanced enough to stay interesting throughout, but not frustrating or overly repetitive. There is a real sense of progression as the model comes together, and the final result feels rewarding in a way that larger collector sets should. The instructions are clear, everything fits together well, and the whole process feels polished and thoughtfully designed.One of the best things about this set is the balance between display value and recognizable detail. I liked it so much I’m buying the tie interceptor next…….
This was a good build. I only have a few trivial remarks. the model is huge but the scale of R2 is tiny. Also, it does take up a lot of real estate and since the provided stand angles the x-wing skyward if you want to show it off you have to display it lower. It was an easy build but again, it is a bigger model so make sure you have a place to put it.Ver másVer menos

Things to know
The printed instructions are a victim of copy/paste. After page 270, it goes back to 239. Would seem the pieces are missing, it is because the pasted is the wrong wing. However, the digital version is correct and I was able to finish the model. Also, in Bag five there are four pieces missing, but I have enough "left over" pieces from other models I was able to substitute. If this is your first Lego Star Wars model, you will need to order the four replacements, it is easy and free on lego.build/missing website.Ver másVer menos

Great Lego set
2nd LEGO set ever for me, I’m 33 years old. I buy these not to play with, but display. Yes, this isn’t the sturdiest of sets, but it looks amazing. I brought it out to my 70 year old parents to look at and they were amazed, which is cool since they loved Star Wars growing up. It’s challenging during some parts, but it was fun and rewarding. Once it’s fully displayed on the stand, it’s massive and majestic. There’s a reason it’s an 18+ set, 18+ year olds aren’t meant to play with toys. Also, my wings don’t sag, I don’t have issues with side panels staying put, and I love it on display. Looks great next to my ornithopter!Ver másVer menos
