Creamy scent
The first few days, this was very creamy but too one-note. The coconut was overwhelming and loud. I usually have to let the Arabian brands sit for weeks (or more) before I like them and since this one was produced in 2024, only had to let it rest a bit. After almost 3 weeks (of spraying every now and then & leaving it), it's finally opening up more. The coconut has softened and I can get the blend of bergamot and cedar. It's really good now! So do let it rest and see what happens.Fragrantica lists the notes as TOP: Bergamot, Jasmine MIDDLE: Musk, Coconut, Almond BASE: Vanilla, Cedar, Nutmeg. I get very little Bergamot and Cedar and lots of Coconut, Vanilla, and Almond. I think that the other notes might be there in the background somewhere.PROS:+ My bottle was old enough not to need much time in perfume jail in order to smell good.+ Safe to wear in a crowd or a professional setting; it's very light and non-offensive.+ The bottle is nice-looking, not as ornate as usual (I love the more dramatic bottles!). The white paint on mine was nicked in a couple of places, making me think it was a return...+ It is a great perfume for layering. I have been layering with Athena (Maison Alhambra) & the result is sophisticated and intoxicating good - better in non-professional situations; good for grown folks date night or out on the town.+ It makes a nice hair perfume.CONS:- If your skin "eats" perfume like mine does, the longevity of this is only decently good. I have to spray my clothes, hair, or a hairband. It might be better for different skin types. (The longevity gets better the longer this rests.)Since this does not last that well on its own, I'm glad it's good for layering. When I use this with Athena, the longevity goes from 1 hour on skin (3 hours+ on clothing) to 3 hours on skin & much longer on clothing.I think this is a nice Spring/Fall scent. Not sure how it will do in really warm weather for daytime.Ver másVer menos
