It’s easier to use than the original, and buy two if you have a puppy

I bought this remote because of advice from a YouTube video. After I bought a new Samsung TV, I watched videos on how to use it and its capabilities.The host recommended this remote control because it is easier to understand and larger than the original. He’s right!In my pictures, I put this remote between my Dish remote and the TVs original. This shows the relative size difference.I’ve only had the remote for about 30 hours and the TV for about 60 hours. I’ve already given up on the original “smart”, solar powered, too small for my hand, original Samsung remote. That’s only a microphone for me to use for the TVs voice control or search engine that I’ll probably never use.If you have, or if you’re looking to buy a less than 4 year old Samsung smart TV, I recommend you get this remote too.No programming needed, just insert two AAA batteries and it’s ready.Edit, 13 months later: I’m needing to replace this remote because my now 7 month old puppy has finally destroyed it.She has also destroyed the original remote, so I’ve ordered two more of these. It’d be a good idea, because of the low price, to get two of these and keep one in a safe place your dog won’t find. Especially if you have a puppy.This remote did work fine until she got her teeth into the buttons. She had already scratched it, but it was still working.I just received the new remotes and they both work perfectly for me. I put one back into the bubble wrap and I’m going to hide it from her. It’s just an insurance thing so I’m never without a remote for this tv again. If or when she destroys the one I use, I’ll use the other and buy another insurance policy one. I use about seven different remotes for my different devices. Some are too outdated to replace with new ones. Those remotes stay hidden.I don’t like the idea of one remote control for everything or more than one device. I like to use each device’s original remote. That’s until I bought my Samsung tv last year. I couldn’t stand the original solar powered remote it came with.I only used it when I had to. I might be old fashioned but I don’t like voice control for searching. I don’t miss that at all.Buy this remote control for your 2019-2024 Samsung tv. It’s practically identical to the ones offered before the solar powered one came along. Great price for a good remote. I only wish it was built with stronger materials and was more puppy proof.Edit 2: Just 2 days after getting the new ones, she chewed buttons out of the one I was using. I can’t find it and now I’m going to have to use the insurance one and buy more insurance. It’s not the remote’s fault that my new puppy likes the taste of this thing and has new sharp teeth. I bought two of them again today so I don’t lose advantage of the current 34% discounted price. I’m more worried about my dog chewing on the batteries than having to buy another replacement. The first time I bought this, I had a dog that was 13 years old with no teeth. It never occurred to me that my next dog would be destroying my tv remote control. This is even more evidence of the necessity to get more than one of these remotes if you have a new dog or a puppy that doesn’t know any better. I’m just praying that she didn’t get into the batteries of the one I can’t find.

Very nice and well balanced. I like it takes AA batteries. Very easy to use. I didnt have to do anything to set it up it just worked with my tv LG UA75. The j strict on. That came with it were easy to read and accurate. First day I am very impressed with this product. It’s a great value and quality. Will update later after a decent use amount.Ver más

Easy set up.

Easy to set up, you don’t have to search through a list of codes. My kid managed to reset the remote and all I had to do was memorize the two programming buttons for my tv brand. Backing doesn’t latch great but that is its only flaw. Would and probably will order again.Ver más

Excellent Replacement for my LG Magic Remote

I bought this Magic Remote replacement for my LG Smart TV after my original LG remote finally gave out, and honestly I’m really impressed with how well it works.One thing I was a little worried about before buying was whether it would actually work with my specific LG TV model, but compatibility ended up being a complete non-issue. My TV recognized the remote almost immediately during pairing, and once it connected it behaved exactly like the original LG Magic Remote that came with the TV. I feel like pointer, scroll wheel, voice search, and navigation buttons work even better than old original rc. It’s clearly designed to integrate with LG’s smart TV system, so everything from navigating menus to opening apps felt completely native and seamless.Setup was super easy. I just put in two AA batteries, turned on the TV, pointed the remote at the screen, pressed the wheel (OK) button, and within a few seconds it paired automatically. I RMA'ed this item three times. Why? The first one didn't work and since the item on the picture and what they sent (my picture) were slightly different (my item shows the settings gear icon instead of "MENU" as the one on the product picture, I thought this model was incompatible. Furthermore, the product description doesn't mention compatibility with Vizio V-model TVs, like mine, I thought it was the wrong product. This time, I found a description from another merchant that did listed my model. So, instead of returning this item, I have it a shot. I was very pleased when I saw it working perfectly.So, don't worry if you get one that kills like my picture instead of like the product picture. It is 100% compatible. If you better one that doesn't work, it is probably because it is defective. Both models are the same electronically.It works on Vizio Roku TVs as advertised.UPDATE: (2/15/2026) the range of this remote when compared to the original is every weak. I have to get close to the TV and point it in a particular angle. Knocking it down one star for that. Other than that, works like an OEM remote.Ver más

Defective LG TV Remote with Corroded Battery Compartment

Damaged battery compartment

I purchased this TV remote from Amazon for Rs. 2,000 on 3rd August 2023, and now I am extremely disappointed. The battery compartment is corroded and damaged, rendering the remote completely unusable even though it's only not even a year old. It’s clear that no proper quality check was done. I’ve attached a photo to show the extent of the damage. This experience has been very frustrating, and I am now seeking a refund or replacement. Does everything it needs to

It’s smaller and neater than the one it replaces. It works all I need it to work. The buttons are clearly marked. It was reasonably priced. Much cheaper than an exact replacement. I’m happy with my purchase.
