This is the one! I recently got a Hamilton Beach Sure Crisp and it would never get over 350 degrees. It made great toast but the air fryer aspect of it was horrible. Too late in the game for a return, I tossed it in the trash which was a bit less than a $100 loss.This baby Rocks! I like that it doesn't have a digital display and controls. I like that the controls are off to the side, perhaps making heat be less of an issue.The Air Fryer bit is what I probably use the most and it works Very well. Even heating and good results. I finally just tried the toaster function and cooked a perfectly toasted bagel with butter and cheese.I don't bake much but when I do, I'll come back for an update.Two cons: I wish it had a light in it. My fix is having a little battery powered trouble light sitting right there next to it. Secondly - I was considering this one when I made that first disaster of a purchase and I wish I had chosen this one. It was much less expensive too. I really didn't care for the "french doors" on the other one either, or the racks or much of any of it. The "Sure Crisp" was anything but Sure or Crisp!Ver másVer menos

Great upgrade
I was worried when I first saw this and honestly didn’t think I would keep it. It looks so small in comparison to my older one (from the same company). But to my surprise it’s the same size as far as food goes. I was able to fit a standard 12in frozen pizza in there without any problems. I’ve never used an air fryer before so I was curious to see how well it would work. To be honest, I didn’t really notice a difference and after using it once, I never felt the need to use it again. The cooking time on this is amazing. I’m able to cook most frozen foods (pizza, chicken strips, chicken nuggets, fries, etc.) in 15-20 minutes. Everything comes out perfect. The toast feature is great too. You can make up to six slices of toast at once. I love how easy it is to use and it’s even easier to clean out. The crumb tray slides right out and I’m able to clean it a lot easier and quicker than my older model. My only complaint is mines arrived with a dent in the side of it. I almost returned it for that but decided to keep it.Ver másVer menos

Budget friendly fryer/oven. Love it.
Love this budget friendly toaster oven. I live is a very hot tropical climate, so I wanted to avoid using my oven.It fits a 12 inch pizza easily but it doesn't look big enough...it is.Its not too bulky on my counter. I do set it about 25 degrees higher that the recommended temp for baking.The air fryer features works great too. Especially for fries or poppers.Ver másVer menos

Minor cosmetics over function. Update
this is an ok toaster oven replacing a still functioning but older Black and Decker 4 slice which had desired headroom to cook in. ( i wish manufacturers would give inside height and how many tray settings it has. Not always easy to see in a photo ). Anyway my only gripe so far is the labeling of functions on the knobs. Smaller and finer font for the labels as well as being printed against a shinier chrome panel. Under brighter lighting the settings are glared out and hard to read. On my old one the lettering is bolder and easier to read as well as printed on a matte grey panel. The newer labeling looks like it could easily wear off.I appreciate knobs much more than stupid touch pads..which on many items do not remember settings .. saw a two slice toaster with a touch pad and you had to reset it each time you put more bread in. And they also take multiple gestures to activate where a knob once set stays set until you want to change it. . but just that one thing is annoying… designed by someone that likely won’t use it from day to This labeling is fussy on this item. And does not look as durable as on my 4 slicer. They did add a bit of texture to the knobs so that if your hands are the least bit wet you can still get a grip if you access the knob right way. And there are basket weave small rubbery grips which also help secure your grip; I also open bottles with them .. one for each stiff hand.As to six slices that is entirely governed by what size bread you use. I get some of my bread from a wonderful bakery and even after they slice it for you some of the loaves are tall so fitting 6 slices of their fresh every day bread is not doable in this unit.Kitchens should be practical. Years ago I wanted a good stainless steel sink but had to look long and hard to get one with an attached steel drain board. Which went right next to the stove. What good is a sink if it only looks pretty next to a delightfully pretty countertop?. And then have to buy add ons for hot pots and pans or anything you are working with that might be hot or wet. Great small oven/toaster
Second one I have owned, loved the first one so much that when it finally started to act up I wanted the same one. The first one was 3+ yrs old and started to cook unevenly so I chose to replace it with the same. It does everything we need it to do, we use it to cook pretty much everything instead of using the full oven.Ver másVer menos

Bottom Heater Element Didn't Work--Ticks like a bomb
UPDATE: not to be deterred I bought another of these and tried to bake an 11 inch pizza in it. My former pizza oven worked perfectly and did a pizza in about 13 minutes if that. It heated up to 425 in about two minutes. So the first thing I noticed was that this unit does not tell you when it has arrived at the prescribed temperature you have to guess. Next to put the pizza in and you cook it for 10 or 12 minutes and it doesn't even begin to cook you cook it another eight or nine minutes and it still hasn't even started to cook you cook it a total of 30 minutes and now it's so dry on top you don't wanna eat it and on the bottom it is floppy and not Crisp. You pull the rackets on, and it slides to the back folds over and creates an awful mess in the back and on the bottom of the machine. You pull the rest of the rack out and it comes out suddenly because there's no stop and the rest of the pizza lands on the door. You soak the rack and the crumb tray that you have removed for several hours and realize no matter what you put on the crumb tray it will not come clean. It has these weird Stains as if the pizza had acid in it.So I got out an oven thermometer and put it on the middle rack after the unit has completely cold. I turn on my stove timer for 20 minutes to see how long it would take the oven to heat up to 425 which is pizza heating time. In 10 minutes the oven had not heated to 100° .I'm telling you folks avoid avoid avoid. I don't know where I'll be four and five star reviews come from but whatever they're making now doesn't work.-----Sadly, after waiting through 3 delays I finally got this, unpacked it, set it up and the bottom heater bar didn't heat—so one-sided toast. Also the timer ticks! Loudly! Ack...but at least it has timer (many don't). When you select TOAST there's no predefined level of browness...you have to guess how much to turn the dial. I guess over time I'd figure it out.This is the second toaster oven I have had to return (Cuisinart's was the other one) because of faulty manufacturing. It's a lot of work to repack and get out to my porch. But at least Amazon offered free UPS pickup.Ver másVer menos
