This can work great
Look, if you do your homework, this kit will work for you. Take note of what it comes with, because depending on your model, it may not work. I have a D160. I have had it for close to 10 years. It has close to 550 hours on it when the stearing gear (pinion gear) started stripping the "rack" so like 8 of my 19 teeth wouldn't full engage allowing only left turns. This would be fine in NASCAR, but I needed to go right. I used only 4 parts from this kit and kept the original parts that were still good. This combined with proper lubrication of your tire pindles and suspention arm will make your deere feel like it is brand new. This kit WORKED on mine. Hopefully it works on yours.Ver másVer menos

Exactly right for JD D-130.
Exactly the correct parts replacing original JD D-130 with compatible, good quality pinion gear kit. Fair Value since JD also uses 3rd party replacement parts and quality is not guaranteed with JD or any after market supplies. This is comparable strength metal to original and fits well. Not sure about longevity of pinion gear or future availability so ordering additionals from other suppliers.Ver másVer menos

Perfect fit JD D130
Perfect replacement for an original stripped out gear. Hopefully it lasts 16yrs like the original.

Works - but not well for the John Deere D105
Quality of parts and materials wwere good, packaging good and delivery good, however two things you’ll need to know: 1) Although the advertising says it’ll fit a JD D105- and it does fit- the rack is made for a dual-steering arm design, and the D105 has a single steering arm on the L/H side with a drag link from left to right wheel. This unit cuts off about 12 degrees of turning radius to the left so learn how to do a farmer’s turn to the right! 2) The kit came with a pivot bearing and bolt & nut but it should have also come with the radius-follower shoulder bolt and nut, which gets morenwear than the pivot. Just don’t over-tighten your old follower bolt and break it!Ver másVer menos
