  Actually Works on Mosquitos

  This actually works here in the Pacific Northwest.It is a repellent that forms a dome like zone that works well to repel insects, particularly mosquitoes in our case. It is a portable zone of protection that works great for a picnic table, a grouping of chairs or as a personal space if you and someone are sitting outside admiring the view.The caveats are that it does have a limited are of protection (like an invisible tent), it doesn’t work as well in any significant breeze as the effects are dissipated, needs recharging after an extended time, and the vapor cartridges need to be replaced periodically depending on how much you use it.Ver másVer menos

  Great Design, But the Refills Add Up

  I’ve been using the Thermacell E-ZoneGuard Patio Rechargeable Mosquito Repeller and really like its compact design. It’s small enough to place on a patio table or take with you when spending time outdoors. I also appreciate how easy it is to swap out the repellent cartridge and that it charges with a USB-C cable, making it much more convenient than older models.The only downside for me is the refill cost. After just one evening of use, I noticed the repellent cartridge was almost empty, so it seems to get used up fairly quickly. The replacement refills are also on the expensive side, which makes the ongoing cost add up.Overall, it’s a well-designed and convenient mosquito repeller that works well, but I really hope Thermacell can make the refills more affordable in the future.   Will not stay charged

  This may have been a great product; I could never get it to work. It wouldcharge but not hold the charge. I tried several different charging devices andnone worked. Too bad I didn't have the packaging anymore or I would have returned it.

  Very expensive way to repel mosquitoes

  Works well to repel mosquitoes. Would have given more stars, but the battery does not hold a charge for very long, probably about two hours, and the replacement cartridges are unbelievably expensive - about $55 for three cartridges. All advertising states that each cartridge lasts 40 hours, but that is way off base in my opinion. Probably 15 to 20 hours, and that is generous. Works out to be well over a dollar an hour.   A backyard MUST

  I, like many of you, am apparently a kind and generous donor to the local mosquitos! That being said, I have finally found the product that has given my wife and I peace and mind when we are out back enjoying the evening or poolside. THIS... Is the Thermacell Mosquito Repellent E-Series Rechargeable Repeller and it means business.It is super easy, you simply charge the Thermacell, insert the cartridge, turn it on and allow about 5 minutes for the cartridge to heat up and start misting and BOOM!!! You are free and clear to live life outdoors. I cannot explain how awesome this has become, and has enabled me to enjoy my midwest evenings out back again without worrying about itching for the next week.Seriously, it is super easy and really just plain works. I saw it at a friend's house and didn't think much of it until I noticed I wasn't being bothered, and that was the last time I went home without a Thermacell out back. I really never notice that the battery runs low as I have a spot for it inside to charge when we come in so that it doesn't get rained on or lost... but the battery does last several hours.I am sure that you will love this product as much as I do once you notice the peace of mind given, the bigger back yard and need more protection?
