Veey decent tripod
This is my third and most expensive tripod. I use it for hunting with a nice innorel ball mount that wasn't part of the mount+tripod package offered here. You'll want a beefier mount than that for hunting i think.The tripod is strong enough to mount a heavy rifle onto without sag or other problems. The tripod is very light, which is very nice for hoofing it out in the wilderness a long ways.If I had to give a criticism, the leg angle locking mechanism that lets you lock how far apart the legs spread is the weak point. Just looking at the mechanism, It's sometimes not obvious your legs aren't completely locked, which could be a potential problem. You'll want to push down on the center of the tripod pretty hard to make sure you locked the legs right.But that's not enough to remove a star. I'm very happy with this tripod.The 90-ish dollar ball mount is also ideal for shooting so if you're getting this tripod for that purpose, get the separate ball mount, you won't regret itVer másVer menos
